"This is all rubbish." Clearly Stimming has no love for Throbbing Gristle and other pioneers of industrial electro :(

Up until halfway through this vid I didn't get what the fuss was all about. Then it hit me that I felt that way about the drm1 until I "unlocked" it

I'm confused why hasn't the bitbox micro firmware caught up to the blackbox (midi sequencing specifically)

it's obviously not the converters but the internal processing, but I wouldn't describe it as "shit", it's just this sampler's personality

I had this red one, the blue one and the green one at different stages (early 2000s). The red one was my favorite, but I never liked the drum sounds that much, but I like the zippy-zappy Kraftwerk-in-a-box type sounds!
Hey Martin, is it possible to sample in the lemondrop and save them on the card?

I picture you as the Marching Band front-man with the Tall feathered hat with a baton leading your band in a Parade. Kidding aside., excellent Syntakt video review. Thinking of trying one out someday. Great puffy Bass sounds.

love mine: not sure any piece of gear makes me laugh like the RoAT does. I think someone below explained the randomness and speed of random change being in row 7 of the matrix. The other key feature about the chaos button to help getting ‘useful’ changes is that whatever row is active on the matrix when you press the chaos button is ‘protected’. So you might like the frequency of the oscillators and so go to that row of the matrix before hitting chaos etc.

I really tried to like Vermona, but it sounds so boring to my ears, and you need another 1k+ in pedals & effects to make it sound exciting

I have the 1010Music Black Box, it has a granular section, but it looks like the Lemondrop has more control through options that I don't have. I will probably go with Tasty Chips some day, the UI is absolutely wonderful.

I would think the primary use of an audio interface would be to use it as an audio interface, not as a mixer. Mixers are cheap. 12-channel/6-stereo-channel audio interfaces are much more expensive, and enable me to hook many external instruments up and get individual channels in my DAW for them. I've watched about six people doing videos on KZbin and none of them except Cuckoo seem to know what this device is for or how to demonstrate it.
