Man, this inspired me to try something different.. When I first started D. I use to make house and freestyle music.. Being from NY, I gravitated towards hip hop beats.. Now, being I left music for over 20 somethin years, I learned Logic so I could teach my son.. Then, been on it every since.. lol.. This dude is amazing.. Another OUTSTANDING video D.. I would have never used the rock drums but now, I may give it a try just fart around.. lol.. Learn what you're teaching.. Thanks bro..

JT once again thank you for your awesome feedback. So glad to know that after a long hiatus you are back to producing music. The reality is if it’s in you you can’t stop it. Keep on going my bro. Would love to hear some of your stuff. Hit me up on instagram with a link when you’re ready 🙏🏾

Is the Follow function more effective with rhythmic sounds like the bass, rather than a strummed acoustic or electric guitar with less 'transient' graphics-wise and soundwise info to grab onto ? In other words , is it viable for the drums to follow a rhythm guitar playing more open chords ? Thank you

Yes HK. From my experience the Follow function seems to work very much like how a drummer and bass player would groove the rhythm of a song as part of the band’s rhythm section. If the guitar has a clear steady rhythm with strong transients then that could work too but a bass instrument would give the best results in my opinion. Cheers 🥁
