I *think* so, but I think there are some features of others I'd like to see - most simply Reaper's ability to invert FX sends per channel, which would be simple to add and would open up some interesting possibilties...

More gems of wisdom Darren, many thanks. Could I just ask that when you are pointing to something with your mouse, it would be nice if you could increase the size of the mouse pointer/colour/etc as for decrepid old eyes like mine it is not so easy to see what you are referring to! 🙂

Thanks. I'm using a Canon 60D, but looking at a change in setup as I've recently changed over to an iPhone Pro and want to incorporate more angles as I work (at the moment there are multiple takes needed, but I'd prefer to be able to talk to camera while working on the computer).... but it's a few months away as I have a couple of large projects to finish by the end of the year first.

The meter bridge also shows compression.

How do you get it to do that? I'm not seeing the options anywhere, but would love to know!

If you add the the meter bridge to your mix console and then use a compressor on the Channel strip you should see a little red stripe indicating gain reduction by the side of the channel meter bridge. As said, this only works for stock compressors in the channel strip unfortunately. Not sure if pre or post has any affect. This feature, introduced in Cubaae 7 is not officially ducumented. @@musictechtuition
