Love this! Do you think first grade students can dance to this?

I believe they could, but it would be challenging with as many components as there are in the dance. I would break it down and only practice one movement per session. Teaching the dance in sections would be my suggestion, especially taking note of the different patterns in the music that would give them clues to the change in dance movements. Just getting their hands all moving to the same right or left side might be hard. I don't know how big a group you are working with, and I don't know how long you have to teach the dance. If given enough time, I think they could do it but it would take a lot of practice. Good luck to you, and thanks for writing.
