Not sure how to word this but, This ritual band is the most unique out there. It makes me feel like I’m going on a magical journey with them through there entire album. I sometimes often meditate to the ritual (Traust) is my favorite ritual especially the live performance of that song. The band helps me clear my head when I’m overly stressed or have anxiety and that goes away cause I imagine being there with them on the journey.

The other male singer for the LIFA performance was Jonas Lorentzen (now with Nebala). His sister Emilie was a singer along with Annicke & Mira until Jan 2023. She’ll be featured in the LIFA IOTUNGARD (Red Rocks 2021) and LIFA LLYN DAIN (London 2023). Alex Opazo was the other main drummer besides Jacob (pre-Shipper).

Thanks for a great reaction! I love this song.....and all the others. You know I recently bought some Heilung clothes and was wearing my heilung t-shirt and hoodie today while downtown listening to their music in my headphones. I can have a terrible day and put these guys on and I get just that Heilung(healing).

The high pitched instrument is tagelharpa (swedish), basically a three stringed lyre with horsehair-strings that is bowed. Tagelharpa is traditionally played in Karjala region in Finland.

Did you know Kay in the second part is reciting the old Anglo-saxon rune poem from the 7th century? And that the language traveled to Britain from Denmark and north Germany in the migration era? F.u.t.h.o.r.c are the first runes from the writing system.

the first part in german and the second part sung by maria are also parts of the rune poem

To me this sounded somewhat soothing. I enjoyed the rhythm they had going. I really liked that you were able to do some interpreting. It’s important to know what that part of the story means. It’s obvious how much you enjoy it, and I’m getting there too. I have a cousin I will share this with. 🎶 Cyd

I think they were better back then I think they have become too commercialized now I saw them live a couple of years ago and the addition of the dancers and more glitz detracts from their message
