Ich war live vor ort.das war in der halle 3 als carl cox sein hammerset hatte.bei der kleinen halle waren auch die besten künstler wie Josh Wink,DJ Hell,Mike Dearborn,Trevor Rockcliffe,DJ Skull und noch mehr vertreten.Die Mainhalle war nach meiner ansicht etwas enttäuschend ,mit einer ausnahme der Liveauftritt des Schweizer Duo Yello um 5 Uhr morgens.

Wg. dem Maydaybesuch habe ich eine Klausur meiner Zwischenprüfung am Tag danach verpeilt! :D Wenn ich mir das Video jetzt mal wieder so ansehe (was nicht voll rüberbringt, wie geil es doch erst in der Halle abging), dann würde ich es wohl auch noch so tun. Allein wg. Cox war es die Nummer wert.

Legende - The Man with the three Turntables. Da wurde die Musik noch aus verschiedenen Scheiben zusammengemischt (neue Scheibe eindrehen, BPM anpassen und nicht auf die Sekunde den Einsatz verpassen; man könnte auch noch genau heraushören, wenn der Übergang mal in die Hose ging ...). Heute hingegen gibt es fast nur noch Laptop-DJ's, die aus Langeweile so tun, als ob diese das Mischpult noch beherrschen.

He is suggesting That Music is more important the DJ himself . Thats what Makes the differene to DJs That suggest they ARE the Music . Theyre not. You can Hear it in they way he presents the Music . Music Stands for itself. He is just presenting it to the people, in a way they can like it. although most of these Tracks are Made tp be Played in the mix ( on a Party) rather than at home on the screen or on a mobile. I like the diversity of Techno hes Able to mix Awesome

Was war das damals geil. Vorne, rechts unten vor den mannshohen Boxen gestanden und voll abgedreht. Die Stimmung und Sound kommt leider nicht ganz rüber in dem Video. Kann mich noch an so einem Typen erinnern, der in so einer aufblasbaren Palmeninsel saß und mit abgefeiert hat. Später dann noch Moby Live - direkt über ihm auf der Tribüne - mitgenommen - ALTER - was bin ich abgeflogen. Wäre fasst auf den Laserstrahlen an der Brüstung runtergelaufen.
