That's an extremely rough place to be. >_< I've done it a few times myself. If it helps, you're definitely not alone; I'm not sure what your environment is right now, but especially if you're away at school, there are going to be quite a few people around you in the same boat. Finding one or more of them and planning something fun to do during the holiday makes it a lot easier. Skyping with family is an inadequate substitute for actually being there, but if you can set up a video chat as well, it's a lot better than nothing. Hugs, and hang in there!!

@@musingmira getting older is sad because you're getting more health issues over time and older people are not even nearly as attractive as their younger versions, and it's very hard to get a job after a certain age, and it also reminds others that we don't live forever, also older women are much less likely to give birth to a healthy child. At the beginning, physical indicators begin to decline, the mental performance is next.
