I hate that this type of R&B doesn’t exist anymore. I’m beyond thankful for music like this. I really appreciate all the real artists that we had back around this time. This was a beautiful time in life early 2000s was magical.

I was always an R&B guy and I remember when this album came out. This first song hit different. Felt so new for me at least. Whether he was THe pioneer or not I don't know, but for me this album pioneered modern neo-soul at the time.
