I think nowadays people forget that back in the day it was more about lyrics in the songs that came out. A lot of younger people don’t appreciate this type of music so these artist are forgotten about. We wonder why other races look at us differently because of the type of music coming out today and don’t take us seriously. Well of course their going to be dancing to it and thinking it’s a way to poke fun of how they dance to certain black music like rap. Think about it, are we moving backwards as black people or forward? I challenge a lot of the new generations to go back and actually listen to the lyrics of the songs and the message it is relaying.
