Why is Muskegon so much more affordable? On Reddit I saw that parts of the southside can be kind of rough? Downtown looks awesome though

It’s a boom bust town because it’s so heavy in manufacturing.

Muskegon Charter Township is NOT the city of Muskegon, just like Muskegon Heights and North Muskegon are NOT the city of Muskegon. Too bad he didn’t read the stats for that. Muskegon, the city, does have some blighted areas, but there is literally no neighborhood right now that would be a bad investment, it just depends on what you are looking for. Everything is getting better and better.
