Not your fault, but this dude needs to go back to Ballistics 101. Balls drop out of the sky after 100 yards? Muskets weren't used for hunting (one is forced to wonder what WAS used for hunting by these very same men)? Thousands lined up for battle? Can you imagine how wide a line of 1000 soldiers would be? Rifles don't have bayonets? This all falls under the broad heading of "Fuddlore", i.e., crap overheard at the gun store and repeated as fact.
