The scary thing is that if all the soldiers died and there were only one hundred zombies left, those zombies could go on to attack the villages and soon, their numbers would go back to the amount it was before.

The issue with this... is that the musket line would fire, followed by the next line of fire... while the other lines reload

Honestly a well trained musket line firing in volleys would be devastating to a zombie horde

Except they're dead, so a lot of the lethality of firearms is lost - No shock/trauma, bleeding, etc... They would literally have to, say, shred muscle or completely destroy a body part to inflict real damage &, given the inaccuracy of muskets, that would be difficult at anything other than closer range without a well-trained & disciplined unit

Should work reasonably well, I would imagine Edit: Also, I didn't think about it by fire by rank wouldn't help in this, because it appears the AI were shooting through (or very nearly around) allies. Fire by rank only works better than massed volleys because it helps keep formation (via ranks) but also allowing the rear lines to fire. In the case where a constant barrage of massed volleys is possible, & assuming all units can engage the enemy, the DPS will outrank that of FBR

@@Altair1243WAR fire by rank, (assuming they’re accurate) would mean that there is constant fire. There is no break in time where they’d have to reload to allow the enemy to get closer. This being the better and more efficient option (realistically of course).

You gave up too soon on the Noah's Flood God power. The idea is to drown the units or at least force them to change their movement to avoid drowning (don't know if the devs have programmed the AI for the latter, yet). Either way, it's not an instant death power.

Muskets we’re 75 cal, the effective range was about a football field, but the British weren’t supposed to aim, there was no sights. Although the Prussians did aim, and their muskets has sights

It's not a surprise the muskets are going over their head. An untrained soldier in the British infantry will naturally aim high, leading to the greatest British fictional hero of all time giving the sage advice - "Aim low, and wait until you can see the bloody whites of their eyes".
