Let’s FREAKING Go!! Glad to see some new content! The new set up in looking great! I have to fix a center brace for a 55 I got for free, how did you use Silicone? Looking for the best way to fix mine.
@SCFishKeeping2 жыл бұрын
The original fix that worked great for so long was just a steel yard stick siliconed to the underside and then the sides of the tank. I think I'm going to do that again, but attach it to the top of the tank with a stronger adhesive!

I think the new Muskie aquarium looks great. Definitely interested in your future long term plans for this guy.
@bobschlotterfishing26782 жыл бұрын
Take a few 2 X 6 boards, make a rectangle box frame for the top out side dimension. make sure you keep it tight. Then use a few 2 X 4 boards to make cross braces, with this you can even incorporate some plexiglass for a cover and still rest your light on top. Id set the 2 X 6 depth to just below the top black plastic frame to hide it. Paint or stain to your preference. ( pretty much your just building a new top support frame, same as what the tank has but 100 % stronger.

Awesome video zack!! You’ve inspired me with this one video to set my big tank back up!! Here’s an idea for you, contact any local fabrication or welding shop and have a brace made out of steel, it would be much stronger and far less noticeable just something to hook across the front and back

The fact that two of you could lift that tank says you work out or you are going to use a chiropractor later!!🤣 I love this idea of a Muskie except you will need a 1000 plus tank if it is a female. I think all schools should have an aquarium displaying fish that live locally to them. I just found you and while I grown on Monster fish I am very interested in how this will go. I'm in Alberta Canada, we have a lot of fish but no Muskies. Are they always spotted like that as immature fish? When you feed them how do you ensure live fish are healthy etc. Love your videos, look forward to seeing more!

I was just wondering to about having a pet musky. Should I slowly start to cool down the water to mimic the winter so they go Dormant and slow there metabolism. Or will he be fine if I keep the tank at its normal summer time temperature?

What do you do to keep the algae growth down from your driftwood man? I got self found wood I had submerged for 5 months over the summer and in my tank for about 5 months now but it makes my tank SUPER SUPER dirty I can’t keep up with the algae from it!
@dustinlunsmann45992 жыл бұрын
You have to do more water changes or put some fast growing stem plants that will help absorb the extra nutrients that are being released from the decaying wood
