i just buy 100 bags of 3/0 black tridents now. between cutting hooks, and cheap/undersized hooks on crankbaits i go through so many. it looks like for topwater colors, you guys prefer BOLD colors, bright dark or both, over muted duller colors. is that accurate?

Bright colors work for us on our dark stained waters. I know many prefer dark colors on topwater, but these are our favorites.

It’s short. So I just use a light leader and attach.

Used to, caught fish on them before too. But when I started using Chaos Twisted Sister and Little Sister, We moved more and netted more because few folks were using them and the sound was different. It’s all about being able to convert neutral bites.
