Going to really try and up my crankbait game for the coming year, assuming I don't get distracted by a confidence bait. Great tips, as always!

Matt, for sure dude... you must! It changed the game for me. I used to be a Bull Dawg and soft plastic nut (you should see my garage walls haha) but I have caught far more fish by learning to use cranks effectively.

Wow held my interest for way over 30 minutes and few little actual fishing footage. GREAT JOB learned a ton about the straight DR and I thought I had heard it all from you before. If you are fishing on a reef < 7', what do you use then? Smaller straight DR? Jointed DR. I have a few reefs that come up to 3-5' on my home lake. Can't wait to hear about DR's and trolling. Keep the great Vlogs and straight up videos coming. Your presentations are special as you are a great teacher not just a catcher.

Thanks Dave!!! I can't believe I didn't put you to sleep with a 30+ minute vlog LOL! :) Less than 7 feet I go with either a baby DR or the jointed SR. If I am using the baby DepthRaiders (as you can see from my videos) I am just a sucker for the straight model... it just produces so many fish for me and is so darn versatile. But I have some lakes (that you have fished with me) where they prefer the jointed baby DR. More content coming soon thanks dude!!

I believe new ones have round bend hooks, older ones don't. Anyway, I've switched all mine to round.

D Mouse, the original hooks are good, but hard to beat the ones with the round bends. They just hold fish so well!
