Once a "girl" had her first period, she was no longer a girl but a woman capable of having her own children. With boys, it was similar. Once he started producing semen and sperm, he was a man! Also Hadith≠ El Qur'an The Qur'an is the central sacred book the Hadees and other books are only used for understanding more about the past. There are hadith sciences used to check the authenticity of the ahadees. If it contradicts the Quran then it's not accepted. Also, the Hadith chains are used to check the authenticity. It's complicated you won't understand. It's impossible to learn deeper about Islam without knowing Arabic( Al-Arabiyah) both classical and modern.

Rabbi, I agree with you I was raised in a Christian home and you're right. Christian children are taught a few basic stories from the Torah, but their MAIN concentration is on the Gospels and Jesus. As a child I was raised in an ULTRA religious home, every morning we had to have prayers and read the Bible before starting the day. Unlike my brother and sisters who obediently started reading from the "New Testament"(ie the second half of the Christian Bible - the first being the Tanakh)...I refused. I can still remember at six years old, protesting to my parents "But no-one reads a story from the MIDDLE of the book...why do you want me to start the Bible in the middle?, Why can't I read it from the beginning?"...I protested so much that eventually, rather than argue with me, they allowed me to start at the beginning. I'm sure you can imagine what happened. By the time I was about 8, I could see inconsistencies between the Jewish Bible and the "New Testament" and no-one could provide me with satisfactory answers. All my siblings who had obediently started reading from "the middle" had no conflict...but it was obvious to me that something was VERY wrong. Then I found out that there was a Synagogue fairly close by. (We lived in the Caribbean, so although we had lots of different ethnicities, pretty much everyone was either Christian or Agnostic) ...One day, I tried convincing my Dad to take me to this Synagogue. I figured if there were Jews in the Bible, then these real-life-Jews, might be able to answer my questions. I was asked why I wanted to go. I explained about the question thing, then I added that I also wanted to be Jewish. My parents both had a complete meltdown...so I dropped the subject. Years later, my VERY first day at University, I headed to the Judaism section of the library, determined to get an answer to my questions. I found one of your books. FINALLY I found answers to all the questions I had. I was so happy. I borrowed the book and I rushed home, I couldn't wait to tell my family that I'd finally found the TRUTH. Silly me I assumed that truth was what everyone was looking for as well. When I say "all hell broke loose": is to put it mildly. They accused me of rejecting Jesus and hurting G-d and going straight to hell. I cried, I certainly didn't want to hurt G-d. I loved G-d with all my heart THAT'S why I was trying to find the truth. Then I started second guessing myself, after all, these people (the Christian Pastors etc) had been studying the Bible for longer than I'd been alive, why did I think I was so smart and knew more than they did? I asked G-d to forgive me and I wished I were more my my siblings who never gave it a second thought. Thankfully G-d never forgot about me. After growing up, and getting married, I promised G-d that I would raise my children for HIM. I was determined to find 100% truth. It's taken YEARS of study and prayers...but I'm back to where I was all those years ago, and I am convinced that I have found the truth in Judaism. Along the way, I struggled a bit, because I knew if I was doing this (leaving Christianity) I HAD to be 1000% sure. But finally, I realized I shouldn't have second-guessed myself. I'd been right all along. Needless to say my family was NOT happy. Once they realized I was serious, I was rejected by all my family and my friends. However, I try to look at this as a blessing in disguise, because I was worried that they might try to convert my 6 year old back to Christianity. I'm getting ready to start the process of undergoing conversion to Judaism...(FINALLY, right?) ...and most importantly, I have kept my promise to G-d. I'm raising my daughter for Him. Everyday I tell her that G-d is ONE...She has her own copy of the Jewish Bible....and I've made sure she's reading it FROM THE BEGINNING" :):) (not there's any danger of where she starts reading, since there's NO Christian Bible in sight) Thank you for the work you do, without you and your work. The answers I was seeking would be so much harder to find.

That's a great story. It was smart of you to make time to read a translation of the Old Testament nefore yhe New Testament, but I would strongly encourage you to continue further and also read a translation of the Quran, which will help you understand everything much clearer and put all the pieces together. Jesus (pbuh) was a righteous prophet of God, and never claimed to be the "Son of God" or "divine," nor did he claim anything about "dying for people's sins."

Angels don't have freewill, so they always listen to God. Meanwhile, humans have freewill, so we can choose to follow the teachings, and pray to God. Thats why some righteous humans are even more superior than Angels. In comparison, thats the reason why The Devil had a higher ranking than the angels in heaven, as he is not an Angel, but a Jinn. And they have freewill and they can make their own decisions too. God already knew The weaknesses of the devil, and there's many things where the devil went Wrong. He should have listened to God's Commandment. That was his Test, and had he passed, he would have been even closer to God. Let's do a comparison, When Adam and Eve ate from the Forbidden Tree, when God had already warned them before not to do so,. They were made to Leave Heaven and put on earth. And what did they do, they asked God for forgiveness and they repented. And God forgave them. Meanwhile, the devil never even pleaded for Forgiveness, because of his Ego. Thats a Significant keypoint . That's the purpose of the Test. To see if you admit your mistakes/flaws and if you would repent and come back to God. And no, Satan is our Sworn enemy and he promised to try to destroy us all, and he hates us all, as he feels, we are the reason he was expelled from Paradise, so we shouldn't enjoy its fruits either. Just look at what's happened to Majority of Christianity. Satan infiltrated it man. Majority of them either worship Jesus, or Mary. But they don't solely Worship the One All Powerful, Ever-Living Omnipotent God.

As a Christian I think we are taught about Jesus first and ministers rely heavily on the New Testament and only later the Jewish Bible. Ironically the minister I had that made the heaviest use of Jewish Bible joined our metaphysical Christian church but left his Orthodox Jewish family. Too many hippy drugs! My experience is that the trinity is rarely discussed especially for kids. When I was a teenager and first heard it clearly I totally didn’t get it but I loved Jesus so I ignored it.

Jeroen van Kooten - Our rabbis of great standing say that the people wanted this calf as an intermediary to God in the place of Moses, whom they mistakenly assumed to be dead. That would be partnership, and is forbidden by first and second commandments.

Attis was a pagan god that predated Christianity by well over 2 centuries. The black stone statue of Attis's mother was brought to Rome in 204 BCE. Just as there are several differences among Protestant & Catholic believers (such as Transsubstantiation, the Catholic belief that Mary the mother of Jesus ascended to heaven so that her body would also not see corruption and on and on) there were differences among the followers of Attis, but there were 5 main components that did not differ: 1.) they believed Attis was virgin born (compare with Jesus), 2.) Ibn Kafir - God does speak emphatically and simply and without any possible doubt as to His One nature and being. Hebrew bible is not vague about the unity of God and that it is forbidden to make any partnership or to worship anyone or anything along with God. Ten Commandments tell us the rules and the. Shema Israel is our only commanded creed to be recited twice daily. There is not any ambiguity here, so why do you make such a suggestion ?

72Yonatan I am a Christian so I am approaching this from an outsiders view. Tovia Singer asked in his videos if an alien came down to earth and read the Torah, how would they read it. Before I show the ambiguities, the point I would like to make is that Tovia Singer said that associating partners, which would include Jesus, is the worst sin imaginable. If the gravity of this sin is so bad, then God would make it really clear and not make Gentiles get side tracked with different interpretations. The Phillistines did this worst imaginable sin when they put the ark of the covenant beside Dagon. God didn't destroy the Phillistines for this worst sin. He just inflicted them just enough for them to return the ark of the covenant. I will list passages that can lead to a suggestion that multiple persons in God is a possible interpretation * Genesis 19:24. NIV. Then the LORD rained down burning sulfur on Sodom and Gomorrah--from the LORD out of the heavens. He could have simply said: Then the LORD rained down sulfur, from the heavens, down on Sodom and Gomorrah * When he created man in his own image, he could have just simply said: I shall now create man in my own image instead of saying: Let us create man in our image. Using plural of magesty or the other possibility that he was humbly consulting with the heavenly court doesn't add anything. It just creates confusion to the peoples of the world. If Rabbis cannot decide on this, how much more for people that are not Jews? * Psalm 110:1 This starts out saying: The LORD said to my lord. King David didn't have an earthly lord since he was already a king. I am not aware that the ancient Israelites called their king lords like the English did later * Deuteronomy 6:4 uses the word echad which leads to the possibility of a plurality of persons combined in God. The passage in Genesis 2:24 uses the same word echad. Obviously husband and wife have totally different genetics

If you read the Hebrew Torah in Hebrew it is clear beyond any doubt what is intended by God. He says that there can be no other gods before Him. End the doubt now and reject the trinity. Save yourself from spiritual shame on the day of reckoning. And just for your information and surprise, there is indeed a group of Christians who call themselves Unitarians, and they are a denomination found only in the USA for whatever historical reasons. Check them out. They are true monotheists, but I do not know any more details than that.

@@ibnkafir950 psalm 110 was written by david to be sung by others, not by himself. The word translated as lord is for earthly ruler. You can see where Saul and others were called this Hebrew word. The problem with the translations is that they are bad. They translate many words as lord when they are actually different, more specific words. Psalm 110 is a great example of this.

Every RELIGION on this planet becomes mute, if we define religion as..."a body of persons adhering to specific fundamental set of beliefs and practices constituting the ritual observance of faith: generally agreed upon by the majority of said adherents." These ritual observances of faith are derived directly or indirectly from so called 'agreed' holy writ or teachings, what ever the case may be, the ritual worship of a Mantis or Snake by some remote tribes of Africans and Aboriginals to the more dominant world monotheistic religions. The above then somehow entitles these observers to the belief that their interpretation of the holy writ or teachings is the ultimate truth, and therefore must be followed and practiced, to such an extent that they would be prepared to die for its promulgation, or eradication (as is the case with the atheist which in itself, by definition, is a RELIGION). Every axiom comes with hours of research and testing this applies even more so to our belief system unfortunately we only have a limited resource base with which to work when it comes to the three or so monotheistic religions of the world, two of which stem from the same source the other simply recognises its existence. (and contrary to what the Rabbi said) there are more and more folk learning the original languages these documents were written in to try and establish the truth for them selves devoid of as much human influence as possible . For it is not the belief sets or systems as such that have brought so much grief on the human race but the egotistical, arrogant humans that observe them.

When a Jew says “I believe in one God” She need say no more. She has conveyed her truth completely. Similarly, a Muslim who says the same thing, has also spoken her truth completely, full stop. Both take the word “one” to reflect its definition making their statement complete. Nothing needs to be added or explained. This is not so with a Christian. It is not enough for a Christian to say “I believe in one God”. The Christian needs to say more to clarify the very basic Christian belief that this “one” God is manifested in three persons and that salvation (being good with God) only comes if one believes in the death and resurrection of one of these persons. This fact means that Christians are clearly not working with the same definition of the word “one” that the rest of us are. 🤔

On the other hand, God definitely says "I" in verses about worshiping and serving him and does not tolerate, compromises on this issue. This is because worshiping the One Creator God liberates one completely. For that saves you from being a slave to beings other than God.
