I’m a Christian and the segment answering the question “why does God allow bad things to happen?” was really eye opening and powerful
@kader89_11 ай бұрын
I never understood the argument of how can there be a god with all the evil thats happening. I never looked at it that way. The way I saw it was, no way that those that where done harm to didn't get to have their ultimate justice and those that did the injustice can get away with it without accountability.

We are given free will and that’s the purpose of a judgment day. Not to mention Satan trying to lead mankind astray.
@ahmedghardaoui352511 ай бұрын
cuz this is what this world is about, there may be no accountabilty here but it will certainly be on the day of judgement, Im muslim and thats what we believe, you cant ask Allah, God to intervene or to stop bad things or ... he is the all knowing and he knows when he is gonna intervene and when he is gonna do what he is gonna do according to his plan not because some human said so ..

If there were no evil, there's no point for good to exist.It's a very common and a low iq question that comes from the atheists which can be debunked by 12 y/o kids.The fact that you were amazed by this question indicates that you're following your religion blindly.Take a bit of time and investigate if your religion is actually true.Religion is not ethnicity, it's a belief system. So you can easily convert to any other religion.

This video has answered ALL my remaining questions in one. I'm overwhelmed, actually, and want to take my shahada before 2024 starts. I need to get brave and be my true self. Thank you so so much, from your future sister, God willing.

In Surah At-Tur, Chapter 52 Verse 35, The Qur’an Asks The Reader a Set of Rhetorical Questions: “Or were they created by nothing, or were they the creators [of themselves]?” And in the following verse 52:36 the Qur’an says: “Or did they create the heavens and the earth? Rather, they are not certain.” As you can see, the Qur’an uses arguments against atheism that are very straightforward and to the point, yet these few words are packed with deep meaning. Despite clear and concise reasoning, the Author of the Qur’an knows the reader may not be convinced by this alone. As such, the Qur’an doesn’t actually leave the topic. Instead, it employs a consistent strategy no other book has come to match in terms of approach. Take these verses for example: “We will show them Our signs in the horizons and within themselves until it becomes clear to them that it is the truth. But is it not sufficient concerning your Lord that He is, over all things, a Witness?” - 41:53 “And a sign for them is the dead earth. We have brought it to life and brought forth from it grain, and from it they eat. - 36:33

I love how when the true understanding of God and our purpose that Islam has given the world is explained, they find difficulty in refuting it. There is no way that God made it so difficult for people to discover Him and yet He would expect them to believe or at least recognise Him. Islam shines that torch which is so pure and unadulterated. We can only hope and pray that when the message is delivered so satisfyingly as has been done here, people minds and hearts open. To be honest, the believer and the non believer need to see this and absorb it. Please keep them coming, The Existence Project a team. God bless you all 🙏🏼

Salaam, I rewatched the last video of this 2 or so weeks ago, I am so happy this video has come again :) The evolution points were so powerful to me. When I first learnt about evolution in school, I believed it made sense but I didn't know my faith believed in it too; I was told the opposite in RS. The reality was, the Islamic understanding of evolution PERFECTLY ALIGNED with my understanding! SubhanAllah! I am still shocked to this day

Salaam, good work, one suggestion is to clarify what you mean by evolution, as Muslims we reject Darwinian Evolution of us evolving from apes because Allah says he created Adam (AH) directly, and the theory of evolution has been show to have a lot of holes in it. Saboor Ahmad on YT is a Muslim expert on evolution.
@TariqMahmood-qs5wx11 ай бұрын
Nowadays even evolutionary biologists reject us coming from apes. We understand that Darwin made all of his conclusions with very limited knowledge, for example genetics wasn't entirely discovered. For example, the origin of species by Darwin was written 6 years before Mendel's work in genetics was discovered. As Muslims, we believe that humans also underwent evolution, some don't but we do. Allah the Almighty describes. usas being created from clay, in a metaphorical sense. Allah also says he sent down iron, but it means that he gave it to us, not that it rains iron when we need it. The same goes for food, Allah says. Even regarding life, Allah says "Surely the example of Jesus by Allah is like the example of Adam, we made him from clay and said be! And it was." Surah Ale Imran So Allah actually says that he made Jesus (as) from clay, but we know Jesus (as) was born to Hazrat Maryam. So we believe that humans are also subject to evolution, and this was also the belief of some Muslim scholars. Feel free to ask more questions!
@TariqMahmood-qs5wx11 ай бұрын
Biology doesn't say anymore that humans came from apes, but that both came from a common ancestor very long ago. When Allah the Almighty talks about creating Adam (as) from clay, what Allah is referring to, is the perfect creation of humans, but we believe this is through the process of evolution. In the Holy Qur'an, Allah says "surely the example of Jesus near Allah is the example of Adam; he made him from clay and says 'be! And he was." Thus, here Allah says that he also created Jesus from clay. Thus, the Holy Qur'an uses the metaphor of clay here. Otherwise, how can it be that Allah the Almighty has created us as life, but has created a completely separate system of creation for all other life? This is the view of many Muslim Scholars, including Ibn Khaldun who writes in his work Al-Muqadimmah "“creation...started out from the minerals and progressed, in an ingenious, gradual manner, to plants and animals. The last stage of minerals is connected with the first stage of plants” and he further states that plants moved on to animals, and that this was the way life developed. Other earlier scholars corroborate this belief, such as Al-Jahiz in Kitab Al-Hayawan, Ibn Miskawaih in his book Al-Fauz al-asghar, Al-Biruni in Kitab al-Jawahir fi Ma'rifat al Jawahir, and others. Thus, I find it logical to accept that the Nizaam of Allah has also been mentioned in the Qur'an, but in a metaphorical manner.
@BARKERPRODUCTION9 ай бұрын
The problem of evil can’t be solved by appealing to free will. Moral evil only accounts for a tiny portion of the suffering in the world. The immense suffering of humans and other animals at the hand of nature, natural disasters, disease, etc. is the real issue.

God gave humans the most precious thing which is Mind and consciousness to find him by reasoning that no other creature has this ability . this is the whole goal of our life is to find God by using our intellect, and this God gave human that thing ......... if you can't find God by your reasoning and mind you can't find God by any other evidence . many humans coming to this world and they don't know why they are here, and what is the purpose of their life, and there is no meaning of being giving a precious mind to use it .
