Not really. If your beliefs and religion are so important to you, it's important to marry somebody with the same beliefs and value system so your children are raised the way you'd like them to be. It's not hateful or discriminatory, it just makes sense.

Tytti Lehtomäki You can discuss religions freely to kids and I agree it is their choice if they choose to practice it. My beef here is that people "think" the kids "have" to be raised in a religion for them to be ok which usually means forcing them into it at a point if they show signs against it. They don't have to be- its not necessary. I myself was raised(and forced) Christian and never liked it no matter the 40+ churches I've been into. Occasionally Pastors will talk through a more logical point of view(Use NKJV as reference) and it bores most of the audience but not me. Still, its just a fantasy. If I had to pick one it'd probably be closer to Shinto because it is much cooler and way more tolerable of other religions and beliefs as they have quote over 8 million Gods. (Meaning the gods of other religions, local Gods, etc etc) and they are much more protective of life and nature. Its a cool fantasy.

+abdulgani hashi Unbelievers are those who don't believe, Jesus Christ (God in the flesh) let Himself be crucified to give us eternal life. He conquered death when He was resurrected on the 3rd day and He still lives today. It is through Him alone that we receive eternal life. How? Confess with your mouth and believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is Lord. To me, Jesus is my best friend. His love for me (& u) is soooo great that he humbled himself to leave His throne in heaven to live as man on earth. Not only that, but he endured persecution and died a painful death for us to spend eternity with Him. That just blows my mind! His love is soooo great and yet we (the world) reject, taunt & mock Him. If only the world knew how great His love is for each and every one of us! His word (the bible) tells us that he counts every tear shed and puts them in a bottle, he knows every strand of hair on our head. Im so not worthy of His love but I'm so grateful!! And this is why i will not marry anyone who doesn't know my Jesus. A Christian is not supposed to marry an unbeliever. Yes we are all human beings and love is very important but people get caught up on feelings (especially roman type of love) and they throw facts away. People just don't read their bibles anymore.
