Sam, I come from a catholic and a muslim parent. I read only parts of the quran and it clearly showed me this can not be the one true God. I defended islam for many years, because of my father. I cried and repented to God for being so wrong. The hate that we are seeing in the world makes me angry. I constantly have to give this to the Lord. May His will be done! And thank you for helping me, reminding me, that they are deceived and need our prayer. May many come to the truth, while there is time 🙏

It's very interesting to read all the non Muslim historical records of Mohammed. There are some excellent 7th Century Chronicals that throw a light on who he was and what he did. He absolutely fails the test of a prophet for me. But no one can debate a Muslim better than ex Muslim, and delivering Christs message to Muslims is a worthy cause. It seems obvious, at least to me, that Mohammad commandeered the Kaaba, as an act of petty revenge against the pagan Arabs, for their act of refusing to worship him. And maybe putting a few personal grudges to bed as part of his motivation. Building on the sacred sites of an enemy was common place in the ancient and mediaeval periods. The Romans regularly used this method against the Celts, but even they, unlike Mohammad, preferred to merge the beliefs of conquered people's, into their own. Whereas Mohammad just wanted to eradicate anything and anyone, who wasn't, or not part of, worshipping him. As well as anything he didn't like, such as dogs, and lizards. That's how petty and twisted he was, anything he was afraid of, or creeped out by, he included killing them into his religion! The pagan Arabs made fun of him, so they had to go! He behaved just like a petulant child. It's insane that such a person could become so revered, by so many.

There's a great video series that goes into what the original "Becca" was by looking at the earliest mosques still in existence that have the original direction of prayer (later changed to mecca as there isn't any archeology confirming mecca being inhabited when Muhammad lived... Long story short by triangulating the original direction of prayer they found they converge on Petra
