Most of the early believers were Jews who believed in their messiah and they received great persecution and were even put to death for their beliefs All the apostles were put to death bar John. Stephen was the first to be put to death ( by stoning who was a Jew who believed in Jesus: the messiah. ) The muslims know that Jesus is the messiah but refuse to follow Jesus but follow Muhammed instead who can’t save anyone Sura 48:1-2 . What is the difference between Christianity and Islam? Christianity is living up to the examples that Christ set for His followers. Islam is living up to the examples that Mohammed set for his followers. Even though Christ and Mohammed lived over 600 years apart, Christ was not a Muslim who was trying to live up to the examples that Mohammed would set; and Mohammed was not - (and by no means) a Christian living up to the examples of Christ. The two are diametrically opposed to each other in their teachings, in their relationship with God, and in their lifestyles. * Interestingly, Muslims gain fame (celebrity, notoriety) by linking Christ with Mohammed. Christians, on the other hand, find it appalling - horrifying, distasteful, wicked, disgraceful, profane, scandalous, and inhuman; because Christ is the one who God intended for all peoples to be like. The creed that paul quotes in 1 corinthians 15 is dated universally by christian and non christian scholars to 2-5 years after the death and ressurection of Jesus. That is pretty amazing stuff. So the accusation by muslims that the divinity of Christ was created over time is really a moot point

@@ac_nerd9794 its actually quite simple. Corinthians is written more or less in the year 50-52 ad. That is universally known because of the inscription of gallio. Which means the creed which he recieves is way earlier

Honest question. Surah 81:23 strait up lies because of Surah 53:3-5. In Surah 81:23, Mohammed is saying he saw Gabriel in his Angelic form, but Surah 53:3-5 mentions Mohammed never speaks of his own desires, and that he only recites what he was told to recite. It says he saw it, in Surah 81, but it also says he only writes what he was told in Surah 53. So, did he see it or was he just told that he saw it?

When the frightened disciples hid jesus was crucified.. peter peeked out but denied knowing jesus out of fear.. These men were not brave, and definitely thought the message and life of Jesus was over. BUT after they saw risen Jesus they changed into brave men that never backed fown. All of them other than John ( although john did suffer much) were killed for this belief, on many terrible ways. These men, including Later Paul, are the true testement about the risen Jesus.
