If that is falsehood in your view, then we cannot help it out. We see the timeless and eternal as the right path. Every religion counters other religion to keep their own firm. We have in our granth those shabads which tells us right way of living life, gives us strength, happiness from inside, to name a few. We do read about other religions but only to compare it with ours and find more weight in our own every time. As our granth have different references to Islam and Hindu belief, it is only for that Akaal Purakh blessings which those also used while closing their eyes. We do not do namaz nor wear janeyu, we do not do Roza nor wear Kalawa. That is a rational thought too. But no good human will listen to other religion process without emotions in a debate too. Emotions are a core in every religion. Being stone hearted will go no way in putting up the view point upfront.

Waging war against allah can be something like handing out a loan (2:279), or committing fitnah (which includes believing in other dieties). The surahs 8:12, 8:39, 9:5 and 9:29 are all small examples for religious oppression, harming/killing infidels, seeing them as lesser beings and forcing them to convert.

I am basically from a sikh farmer background.Growing up I had some classmates who would make jokes on islam and some people who I have met who hate muslims.Even in the 21st century there are religious tensions between hindus and muslims.However this happened partly due to the partition when our Muslim brothers and sisters left their lands and villages to go to lehnda west punjab now in pakistan.Organisations like shiv sena and rss also promote hate for muslims among Hindus.In my local area hindus are few and those hindus aren’t very radical anyways.But the city I grew up had hindus from various parts of India and their general thought process especially of non punjabi hindus is to establish a hindu rashtr and even establish laws such as that of manu.Now everybody knows that if such laws are established the muslims and dalits will be at the very bottom of society and will be deemed inferior and called malechas shudrs achoots varn shankars and so on.Bahmans have this mindset where they think they are at the top of society but when foreign rule comes they become their humble servants while exploiting the low castes among their own hindu community.That is why indians are not a warrior people but mostly composed of communities who show cowardice.No other country has successfully established such a cruel system as the brahmans did and ensured its survival for so long (uptill india got independence in 1947)

I have taken the One Formless Lord into my heart; I humbly worship Him there. ||3|| 3. Hindus tenets including belief in caste system. People are ranked according to the caste system and considered superior or inferior. Sikhism instructs to respect all human as equal regardless of caste, color, gender or race. 4. Hindus and Muslims believes in Fast. They believe fasting will purify blood and soul. Sikhism instructs that making your body suffer will not help you to meet God, meditation of God is above all. 5. Hindus and Muslims both cut their hair. Sikhism instructs to live the life the way God made us. Sikhs should not cut their hairs as a respect towards God. 6. Hindus and Muslims both consider their religion as superior of all. Sikhism instructs to focus of meditation on God instead of glorifying a religion. 7. Hindus and Muslims both make Pilgrimages, in order to get close to God and it will washed away all your sins. Unlike Muslims Sikhi instructs every human has God inside, search it within your soul. Also taking bath at pilgrimages does not wash sins. 8. Hindus purpose of life is Dharma (Fulfilling one purpose), Artha (prosperity), Kama (desire, sexual, enjoyment), and Moksha (Enlightenment ). Sikhi instructs that the purpose of life is to become one with God, to merge in the One whom we originated from. The stories of prophet in Quran were not chronological nor accurate in many place and many stories are evn from non-canonical traditions. And the whole Quran was conjured up in 20+ years and is full of war cry and repetitive stories and laws from Torah, Neviim, Ketuvim prevalent in Jewish sects living in Mecca in those days and apocalyptic and other worldly visions of the Gospel from 6th century Arabic Christian tradition. I know you cannot digest it but it is what it is. In India there had been many saint who were illiterate but had great wisdom and knowledge of religious stories even though they had no access to any kind of education. Many books have been ascribed to them which their disciples had scribed for them much like Quran. One of the finest example is Kabir Das. Read his Sakhi, Sabad, Ramaini. Above all, follow whatever suits your taste and level of consciousness. I never judge anybody for their life choices whether right or wrong. You are right if you feel to be so. Lord have mercy on you.

I listened to the whole video on basic of Sikhi channel (the uncut version) and it was very interesting. I will not say Sikhism is better or Islam is better however what I will say is that Muslim brother got his responses to all of his questions and concerns. Nah, Sikhs believe that every religion has the truth, this clip takes a long and in depth conversation out of context. Id strongly recommend you watch the full video, witch is about an hour long or smth. Rather than a minute clip, which doesn’t even show jugraj’s response. Ill summarise though. Every religion has bits of the truth, which we believe is the incomplete truth, Sikhism is the ultimate truth, so if you accept that, it will obviously has some messages Islam has and some Hinduism has, because they have parts of the truth. However, we also disagree with many of the things Hindus and Muslims practice, for example we don’t believe you must fats, and we completely disagree with the caste system in Hinduism. But we share things too, for example Sikhs and Muslims both pray everyday. But Sikhs have many beliefs that Muslims and Hindus don’t. We don’t cut our hair, believe we should learn to fight, to protect others who cannot protect themselves, we don’t believe in sacrificing animals as Muslims do. And to my knowledge we have no resemblance to Hindu practices. There’s a famous teaching of guru Nanak, when he rejected the Hindu practice of wearing a thread, he said it doesn’t come with you to the afterlife, and a thread cannot protect you. Our ideas of afterlife are completely different to the Abraham beliefs of Christianity and Islam. We believe in reincarnation, however this cycle ends when you have become a good person, then you will go to heaven, otherwise you’re trapped in the cycle. We also have lots of facts in our scriptures which science has proven. Sikh scriptures explain the Big Bang, Darwin’s theory of evolution and stats such as the amount of species. Sikhism says there are 8.4 million species, scientists predict that there are 8.7. Before commenting like this you should do research into the subject, instead of blindly going off of a one minute KZbin clip.
