This is the quote brother Zaid used at the end, please inform me if our Prophet ﷺ has actually said this. May Allah forgive us all. EDIT: A brother in the comments wrote down a hadith which is very similar to the shadow metaphor by Ibn al-Qayyim. I think that's where the mix-up happened.
