I think I have a similar background to this physics student as an engineer. And I've asked similar questions myself. However, one idea that helped me connect some dots together was a hadith from the Prophet peace be upon him, ""Allah says: 'I am just as My slave thinks I am'". I wondered how God could encapsulate so many different realities of perception from the people all at the same time. And it dawned on me, that if a Creator God existed that is the source of the universe, He must also be the source of every dimmension of reality we experience as well. Pain, suffering, joy, happiness, anger, forgiveness, intellect, freedom, etc. All of it must originate from the same source. So in a way believing in God is as rational as believing in a number line when you encounter a number. Or more generally believing in a n-dimmensional vector space when you see n-dimmensional complex realities in life. God is that background upon which all of creation rests. He is every kind of infinity for infinity is all that cannot be created, it is uncreatable, the only possible explanation. Singular to avoid contradictions in will and necessity. And totally real, a fundamental truth whether we accept it or not

@bananarepublic34407 ай бұрын
He asked why we should assign infinity to God in the first place. A clearer answer would be - first of all, we can't stop at the universe, because the universe clearly has a beginning (the Big Bang). It is also predicted to have an end, which is the heat death of the universe. But why assign it to God? Well, here you can just point out the irrefutable chain of causation argument. Everything is a consequence of something. And if we keep going back and back, there eventually has to be something that has no cause, that is the first cause. Why? Because it would otherwise take an infinite amount of time for us to exist, because an infinite amount of things would have to happen before we could be brought into existence. That first cause is philosophically God. And the first cause has no cause, and is therefore infinite and necessary.

@@Hitchens-k9sThat's not what Islam teaches my friend. God gave us science to find him. The big bang was described in the Quran before you could even start creating its theory. We don't believe in magic, but simply two different metaphysical areas. One which is dependent on time and space, and one that is not. The first one is our world. We KNOW there was a "before" time and space (assuming you can use this word without time). But we can't comprehend that. Action requires time and space. The big bang was an action that happened independently of time and space. This independency of time and space exists, scientifically proven. Calling it nothing is blatantly wrong. So Allah does not pop out of nothing, but is the force behind the reasoning that something beyond time and space can exist. The fact that a random explosion was that perfectly ordered to create huge galaxies which are stable and tiny microprocesses in between atoms is a proof of design and intelligence of the force. Otherwise you are telling me that you can just randomly mix some atoms together and you create life out of that, which is not magic. Feel free to write any code that actually serves as function by just hitting your hands on the keyboard. You are telling me that randomness can code the entire existence of everything. If you look around the universe and inside yourself or living things etc, you will see amazing activity that Isa clear proof of a designer. You will either say it is happening by chance, by nature or every atom does it on their own, all three are false, even kids will laugh at. When it comes to 4th explanation, which Is a creator whom we call Allah set, instead of accepting it, atheists just deny it. You think idol worshippers were fools, however, you are attributing Godly features to atoms, which is much worse than being a fool. If I were you, I would be cautious to learn Islam, because if it is true and you rebel such a Creator, you are in big danger, if you are true that there is no God, then we loose nothing. Lastly, Prophet Mohammed pbuh, himself, by his life, by his prayers, by his actions as a prophet even by the acceptance of his enemies is the best character ever lived, never lied. This is another big proof for the existence of God. And Quran, The Book challenges entire humanity 1400 years, claiming to be from Allah and no one has written something like it, is another proof for the existence of God. If a liar tells you your house is on fire, you may ignore, if 10 liars tell you your house is on fire, you will call 911. Like that, thousands of prophets, every atom in the universe is telling you that God exists and you will go back to him. If you still ignore, your choice.

there were people before adam, yes absolutely ? isn't he the first ? 26:29
@SA-mn1ux8 ай бұрын
This is a common misunderstanding that has subsisted from the medieval mindset of some scholars of the past. Adam, who lived about 6,000 years ago, is popularly believed to be the first man created by God upon this earth. This view is, however, not corroborated by a close study of the relevant facts. The truth is that the world has passed through different cycles of creation and civilization, and Adam, the progenitor of the present human race, is only the first link in the present cycle, and not the very first man in God’s creation. Nations have risen and fallen, civilizations have appeared and disappeared. Other Adams may have gone before our Adam; other races may have lived and perished, and other cycles of civilization appeared and disappeared. This view has also been held by certain eminent Muslim savants. Muhy-ud-Din Ibn ‘Arabi, the great mystic, says that once he saw himself in a dream performing a circuit of the Ka‘bah. In this dream a man appeared before him and claimed to be one of his ancestors. "How long is it since you died?" asked Ibn ‘Arabi. The man replied, "More than forty thousand years." "But this period is much more than what separates us from Adam," said Ibn ‘Arabi. The man replied, "Of which Adam are you speaking? About the Adam who is nearest to you or of some other?" "Then I recollected," says Ibn ‘Arabi, "the saying of the Holy Prophet to the effect that God had brought into being no less than a hundred thousand Adams, and I said to myself, 'Perhaps this man who claims to be an ancestor of mine was one of the previous Adams' " (Futuhat, iii. 607). The Holy Qur'an also clarifies that Adam is not unique in being created from dust as all mankind including Jesus were created in a similar way - contrary to the Bible which mentions Adam as having been exclusively created from dust. The Holy Qur'an says, “Surely, the case of Jesus with Allah is like the case of Adam. He created him out of dust, and then He said to him, ‘Be’ and he was” (Holy Qur'an, 3:60). Similarly about the creation of whole of mankind Quran says, “And of His signs is that He created you from dust; then behold, you are men spreading over the earth.” (Holy Qur'an, 30:21). In the Holy Qur'an, Allah Ta'ala refers to Adam (peace be upon him) as a Khalifa in the following verse: "And when thy Lord said to the angels: ‘I am about to place a vicegerent [Khalifa] in the earth,’ they said: ‘Wilt Thou place therein such as will cause disorder in it, and shed blood? - and we glorify Thee with Thy praise and extol Thy holiness.’ He answered: ‘I know what you know not’" (Holy Qur'an, 2:31). We know that Khulafaa are always appointed over others, so Adam (peace be upon him) could not have been the first person because he was a Khalifa. If he was the first person, who could he have been a Khalifa over? The Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) also clearly explained that there have been 124,000 Prophets of God.

There is no "precise" definition of the so-called singularity that applies to all theories for the understanding of this concept. Its literary the point where our math breaks. Its a bit messy to explain in a yt comment section. But it will benefit us to know that in the realm of mathematics, regardless of axioms we agree upon, will eventually have certain flaws, or "holes", as in we would need to keep adding and adjusting to make sense of what we are trying to explore. Look up "incompleteness theorem". For example in set theory, we figured out we needed to add an axiom to precisely characterise what a set is, what it can and cannot do or have. So to argue "infinity", the theological term, cant axiomatically be met with the mathematical term(s). Islam is has cover all these holes, by explaining that we wouldn't comprehend even if we understood it, but what we need to understand is already there to be explored and pondered upon. Its common knowledge that we cant precisely replicate and model a certain phenomena in nature, either physically or digitally. There is clear limits. Or the math doesn't exist for us to even understand what is going on or why its like that. Why measure and come across Pi in the most random of events. Why universe would look so different if a single number of a certain charge of a certain elemental particle was slightly different. We can create a list of stuff, or axioms, to try and prove God. But we holes and flaws in our current theories, why do we except it would be any different when discussing and mathematically proving existence of God? My point is, we will never be able to contain everything in one theory. And the grand designer knew that. This is why we needed something that is regarded as highly rigorous and highly precise

Hello, I wanted to ask you something or refer to one question you were asking. It seemed like you were saying something like „the infinity doesnt have to be something you assert as a God, why couldnt it be also the universe?“ Then you also said something like „there couldve been another Universe before our Big Bang, we simply dont know what was before that“ The problem is the infinite regress of dependent existences. You need to have an independent NECESSARY existence to start that chain. The universe, big bang or anything else is NOT independent or necessary. Because anything that consists of parts, anything that can be changed, is by definition not necessary. The necessary existence has to be ONE, so even with the idea of multiverses, they are still dependent and contingent existences, since they consist of parts, they can be changed, they are contingent. To argue that the universe is independent and thus the necessary existence if that chain is therefore false and illogical. It wouldve been more logical to argue that the Big Bang is the independent force because we know that the universe was CAUSED by it, it was dependent on the big bang to happen. Even with the big bang, naturalism, evolution and so forth, Atheists often confuse agency with mechanism..

"The polytheistic people question" is like running out of topic regarding the muslim person already said it must be one God. But it can still be answered. The harmony of complexities design can not be based on many Gods work. If there were many Gods, there should be great possibilities that any designs/function ruins each other because each god has each idea of creating. So we will see many chaos/damages in front of us. So, it must be one creator, one idea to make harmony of the universe. Regarding the last question, Why it is must be God, not unicorn?😁 This question looks silly, but it is actually intriguing. We must define first what "God" means. What it attributes, what capabilities should it had. From the author of conversations, we know that God must be: 1. Out of all matter/ universe(s) 2. Must be different of all matter/ universe (s) 3. Must be intelligent (have a willing) 4. Must create all of matter outside of it So, if unicorn perceived by the person asking as an "animal like horse which has one horn", it doesn't meet with criteria no. 2. But if the person meaning is meet all of the criteria, than it is actually God. We can say God by many names, but of course don't say the name of God with the same name as a fairy tale/bad name. If you consider that 4 criteria exist, of course you will name it by ultimate good name as you can.

The claim that every polytheistic religion was monotheistic is a faith claim.

Also, the person says that osmosis is the cause of our hands pruning, but this is not osmosis, it is evolutionary action which causes our hands to have more grip in water.

I'm confused at the end. The brother said he doesn't care what the original scripture said but forces imam sahib to accept that all religion have polytheistic origin because of "what people believe nowadays". Maybe we could bring other irrefutable proof that god exists for example the miracles of the Quran, that would break the ice a little bit

This atheist needs to be humbled through getting rid of his arrogance and listen, not just hearing! He knew for sure that he lost the argument that was put forth (design requires a designer) and had no way to proceed further with flawed reasoning, but instead begun to humiliate his own intelligence! Edited: then ran away!!

Dear Atheist Q: What is your favorite fruit? A: Mango Q: How does the mango tree know that there is a species called human beings, which has an organ called the tongue? This small organ can decode the "mango taste" produced by the tree's fruit. There could be one of three possibilities to explain this: a. The mango tree is a professor with a Ph.D. in tongue studies, fully understanding how this small organ works, and thus produces a fruit that can be identified, appreciated, and enjoyed. b. There is a third entity with complete knowledge of the tongue, which created the mango tree to produce something called taste. This taste can only be experienced when the fruit is placed on the tongue; no other place on Earth can recognize this "taste" code besides this small organ. c. The tree randomly created the mango taste without any idea why it produces the fruit or who is going to use it. .

Sadly many atheists are lost. Truth evades those who refuse to refuse to see with both eyes widely.

Lets be on the atheist side for now: How did the universe came into existence? Or how did it always have existed? Most common answers: We dont know. We will know. We will never know. How could you know? Thank you very much. What is the next most logical answer to this question? Some atheist anwers: Big bang bada bang from a single mass which we dont know how it happened. Some energy explosion. It came from another universe like a lava lamp etc. So where did that universe came from? And so on. All of the above are not complete hypoyhesis answers. They make u keep question how at its origin. Universe can be infinite but how is it infinite? Best answer is: God in a different realm where no time laws exists of which we dont know if he is infinite or if we can even attribute that to him as he has made our knowledge finite and limited. And he is the one who has created everything. There are no further question marks as we can not comprehend go as he has limited us in comprehending him. If god doesnt exist all of us will perish into atoms. If he does exists then the most next logical reasoning with our survival instinct is to pick a religion that has a complete preserved word of god eg quran scripture with prophecies that came true is the most next best choice as nobody has ever disproven quran. It explains the purpose of life and how we should behave best compared to all other religions. If god exists then god would be please d with us. As we figured out god exist and did our best to recognize him.
