I’ve noticed that many channels rely on rage bait to draw in viewers-thumbnails filled with angry faces and titles like 'ATHEIST DESTROYS MUSLIM' or 'CHRISTIAN OBLITERATES ATHEIST.' Even as I watch this, I'm scrolling through the recommended videos (mostly videos from other channels) and the thumbnails are full of rage bait. But what I love about The Existence Project is that it’s setting a new standard. Instead of playing into hostility, they're fostering a respectful exchange of ideas. It’s refreshing to see debates that focus on understanding, not tearing others down. Keep up the great work! I hope to see another season soon, Insha'Allah!

This letter is from Muhammad, the Messenger of Alläh to Muädh bin Jabal. May peace be on you. I praise Allah, except Whom there is none worthy of worship. I write to wish that Allah grants you a great reward, May He inspire you with capacity to be grateful to Him. Our lives, our wealth and our children are His bounties. These are the trusts that He has given to us. May Allah grant you true happiness as a recompense for the loss of this child and bestow reward of blessings, guidance as a recompense for his death. Be patient and you would be rewarded, do not lose your reward by wailing, which you might regret later. In programming AI, the most efficient models give points to the AI for the right answers and subtract points if it made a wrong decision. In these lenses we can judge that coding intelligence into things will require motivation, the AI doesn’t want to lose points since it get rewarded for the maximum amount of points it collects through a trial, so we can judge that taking points from AI is “painful” and adding points to AI is “pleasurable” in a sense. This system is much more simplistic than the human pain and pleasure system, but it puts into prospective that the best and most efficient way even for humans to code intelligence is to use a simplified system of pain and pleasure. Jesse is a smart guy, and since he is a CS major he would realise that eventually hopefully.

Yes. I am a revert and partially because of watching a tonn of "Teaching AI to ..." just for fun, which brought me to compare our world to it. It is a perfect example to show to people who position themselves as a "man of science" and denying even talking about God. But the truth is that science and religion aren't from different worlds. Science just answers "how?" while religion answers "why?".

Why did God create pain? Pain is undoubtedly important, but why use it as a path to total happiness? Imagine if there was only one color, like blue-representing happiness. If you were surrounded by blue your entire life, how would you truly appreciate its beauty? Without anything to compare it to, you wouldn’t know its value. In the same way, bliss without pain loses its meaning. Pain provides the contrast needed to fully experience and understand joy. Just as contrasting colors highlight the essence of blue, pain highlights the true depth and significance of happiness. I like your explanation and nature

To confine the answer of suffering to one point is diametrically opposed to the Holy Quran itself, which states many different arguments. These points are relevant to those who believe in God, but a person who does not believe in God does not believe that there is an intelligent force testing us at all so you cannot use that argument until you philosophically demonstrate that suffering please a important role in the grand scheme of things.

6:02 That's why I find the people who say that purpose of life is to have fun or do what you want is deeply problematic!! That's what paradise is for , this life is clearly not paradise, you cannot have things your way in this life, you have to surrender and follow the rules .... I always find it ironic how we look for aliens and wonder about them ...when in reality we are the aliens , we are the odd ones in this life ....our souls, our minds, our consciousness, we're not like other creatures..... we long for perfection, for complete bliss, for ultimate justice ...and we hate pain and evil.... which is so unlike the world we live in ... our world is not perfect, it's not fair and it has lot of pain and suffering... so why are we fighting these things? We don't see cats struggling like we do ! They're fine with their lives, every creature around us is fine with what they have ... but we aren't, we long for something more , we feel we don't belong here... if we just look into ourselves, our minds..we can se that we are bigger then what this world has to offer, we don't belong here , we came from somewhere bigger then this ... we came from another realm , and we shall return there, this life is only a temporary passage, a test for our eternal souls ...

That's the only way we're superior to other animals" so he sees human being as "other animals" and he thinks that consciousness evolved in us and was not given from the beginning. 12:34 he says: "the devil is not a person in islam", which im not sure whether he means shaitan does not exist or what exactly but that's not my main issue anyways, maybe he means something else. I agree, there was so much insight shared. It’s healing to hear such deeply rational answers to existential questions.

Response to the free will means there will be evil point, 1. What would you say about natural and useless suffering such as terminal cancer or hurricanes? 2. What about heaven, there seems to be a place where free will exists but there is no evil

Funnily enough how I found God was through trying to come up with a better system for us as humans. I tried for a very long time and wasn't able to and I just conceded that this current system was perfect and the only thing that made sense was that good is weak which is why evil has a stronger presence in our society. Stayed agnostic for while after that and eventually find my way to the truth which is Islam, receiving God's grace was the most profound experience I ever had in my whole life which is something you can't explain to those who have not and you can't even put it into words. Inshallah I really hope more atheist concede instead of staying in a state of arrogance because they don't like the idea of being judged.
