It’s a very strategic and well used device in the female artillery. Generations of “ getting away with it” has led to the creation of the monster known as Karen!! This woman thought that she could make an argument by guilt and shame. DH is far too rational for that. I wish more men were like that. Women must learn not to do this. It’s devious and actually harmful for the woman in the long run. It always comes back to bite you.

She literally disclosed what's happening at home with her parents and her brother , complained about how her parents are treating her, complained about the difference of attitude towards her brother, then when brother Daniel wanted to know what exactly happened in order to properly understand her case she refused to do that claiming she didn't come here to complain or disclose what's happened with her family, well sister , you're 100% here to complain. This is what feminism does to you , it makes you a nonsensical, self contradicting complain machine.

Cut her some slack, women are emotional. That's why we were called glass vessels. Being gentler does no one harm. I think Daniel could have done better handling this issue here. This further creates hostility and increases the gap. I've seen men take a gentler approach in making a woman understand, including myself, and that way is more effective. As silly as it might sound we don't need facts and rationality as much as men do. We need empathy, respect and a gentleness.

@@annam7683 There's a time to be gentle and not be gentle. This sister came to a live stream, and poses a provocative question to Daniel in a quite intimidating tone and when Daniel did the same, suddenly its not acceptable? I agree, us women are emotional, but that does not mean we are free from accountability and criticism. Her intention wasn't to have a discussion but just wanted to put Daniel in a spot, as she brought up an incident that was independent from the stream and proceeded to emotionally bring up her anecdotes to smear him.

@inassann8897
@inassann8897 2 жыл бұрын
As a woman, I have some comments on her discussion. First of all, it is a common sense that if you dress less, you are more likely to get harassed. I'm a Hijabi woman and I rarely ever get harassed. In fact, men respect you, give up their seats for you, make sure not to touch you, and overall give you your space. If a woman gets harassed while she is not dressed modestly, she gets her share of the blame. He gets the blame for harassing her and she gets the blame for 'partly' causing this Fitnah in the first place. Second, her idea that she is against liberal feminism but for another form of feminism does not make a difference because the source of getting what's right and wrong is not Islam but from feminism. What happens when the feminist ideology goes against Islamic teachings? What drives her morality and the way of life? Feminism does not mean 'women's rights'. It's a whole ideology with implications on how the woman sees herself and how the man sees her and how she should be treated. If one is a true Muslim, their only reference to their identity and how they should live their life is from Islam and no other outside ideology. Third, she talks about her brother and how she is being discriminated against. Even if we assume she did get mistreated, then the problem is with her parents' practices and not Islam itself. Distinguish between Islam and the practice of Muslims. Another idea is maybe you don't like the way your brother is treated because you want to be treated the same. However, men and women are different. Your brother will ought to work and by nature women will ought to raise kids. Therefore, as young people in the house, we are ought to prepare for the things we will do in the future. This is coming from a girl who lived with two boys. I didn't do a lot of house work when I was young because we got used to it in the house; it does not mean it is the rule and that girls have to be treated the same as her brothers. Finally, I just genuinely feel she is driven by emotions and she feels like a victim. I genuinely think she is westernized or she is living in a society where she sees how her family is and how her friends are treated in the house. I genuinely hope may Allah guide her. The most important thing she should do is read Quran and sees how Allah describe our roles. She should know that our goal is to worship Allah. The center of universe is Allah and not our wants and desires. If we grasp that our main objective in life is to worship Allah, we will suddenly not care about what the man has or the woman has or what the society want me to have.

@@jonatand2045 the contradiction comes from your lack of knowledge about Islam. Allah SWT created humans with free will, meaning the ability to choose between good and evil. He has given us a moral compass, sent us messengers with clear proofs to help us distinguish between good and evil. In today’s day and age, ignorance is a choice. If you choose to repent, follow Islam and submit to your creator you go to Heaven by Allah SWT’s mercy. However If you choose to submit to your desires instead and reject Your creator by arrogance, you will be punished, no doubt about it. You will earn your just reward based on what you do in this life. However Allah SWT is the most just, those who never heard about Islam will have their own test on the Day of judgement. @Original Blizzardhawk There are countless examples where humans had done things wrong before, then repented to their creator and became righteous. The prophet said every son of Adam is sinful, and the best of those who commit sins are those who repent. The disgrace is when someone insists in his sins and wrong beliefs despite the fact that they are clearly wrong without correcting them. We all should repent and correct what is wrong in either our beliefs and/or actions. For instance, someone espousing Shia beliefs should repent, or someone looking haram (forbidden) should repent, etc. If you mean fatwas, of course we should take them from trusted scholars, and bro Daniel we see him as a trusted daie and a student of knolwdge not a scholar of Islam.

@Hasan Mahedi he didn't told any truth. Her parents are indeed burdening her too much with work. I am a guy and I help my mother around the house and I also take care of other things that I am required to do. Daniel fanboys are insensitive and they didn't heard her say that her brother was doing nothing and was lying around whole day. The Daniel fanboys didn't listened to her saying that her parents were more strict with teaching her religion as compared to her brother. This is injustice and no one but Daniel fanboys could justify such things. Also hijab doesn't prevent rapes, it give you a layer of protection to a certain amount but it a rapist is really looking for hunting someone then they don't even spare fully or partially covered 2-3 year olds to 90-95 year olds. Rapists don't even spare boys and men and rape is a very sensitive topic to women which pigs like Daniel may never understand. Her whole point was that Daniel is insensitive and his answer proved it. May Allah bless the sister and may not divert her from Islam because of insensitive pigs like Daniel Pikachu.

If anything, A Federal Commission on Crime of Violence study found that just 4.4 percent of all reported rapes involved “provocative behavior” on the part of the victim. (In murder cases, it’s 22 percent.) It also found that most convicted rapists could not remember what their victims were wearing.

Go ahead and explain why Egypt and Pakistan have the highest harassment, public molestation and cat calling rates. U don’t even have to compare the west to the east. Let’s compare Muslim countries to each other alone. The highest harassment rates in the Muslim world occur in places like Egypt, where 80% of women are hijabis, yet the public molestation rates are as high as 99% according to the UN and Arab meter statistics. In Bangladesh and Pakistan, u can barely even see a woman’s shoulder, yet the rates are also beyond 90% and there are at least 11 rape cases everyday. Go compare this to places like Dubai, where female tourists be literally walking half naked, yet the harassment rates are way lower than modest demographics where hijab is common: So if harassing women was this inevitable that they need to be covered head to toe, explain to me why Dubai is one of the safest cities for women to walk alone at night while women in full niqabs in Egypt, on broad day light get harassed?

I have seen families (parents) who take double standards on kids just bc if the gender when it comes to requirements and expectations from children (sons and daughters) they raise. And yes, it has nothing to do with Islam. Its cultural thing of giving one more entitlement over another and putting another child in such less worthy situations. No doubt women have their own chores and duties, but boys must have the same level of standards when it comes to raising them without being entitled, but strong willed and disciplined.

Its kind of primitive to think- if you have roof, clothes and food parents or fathers give you- they/he have/has a right to demand or expect more from girls then boys. Of course kids must grow greatfull regardless of gender for what their parents provide. as a parent who is very conservative and stand against of feminism- i teach my kids equal responsibilities , BUT girls have their own way of manners when using certain words or approach, boys have their own way if communication and everyone have their chores and have one standard of demands from parents (us) . If one is helping in the kitchen to cook, another one isn sitting around- he goes to take trash out, feed animals or make sure his boys room is organized OR at least read us book out-loud, they share chores so my son grows caring son to older mother or helping husband. Not making money and sitting on the couch vegetable. Do i make sense? If one does wrong gets the same way of punishment or faces consequences as another regardless of gender. Whopping butt. Also we have conversations about how women are gentle and they need help in life and care for them in any form they may need. My boys have to learn how to cook too, to be able to cook for their kids or sick wife if that happens

The false injustice she probably experienced was maybe the protective jealousy her Father may have had on her. She might have been told to wear modest clothes and this might have triggered her, as she obviously believes that no matter how you dress, it doesn't have an effect on Men, and that the Women is completely off the hook on this matter and "it's all Men's fault". Anyone who knows the hadith about how the Women who dresses in a way that she is still naked, such a Women wil not even smell the scent of Paradise, even though it can be smelt as far as the distance covering 70 years. Just a question: which one’s “sin” has a bigger effect on family/society - the woman’s or the man’s? Why do we see a woman smoking differently than a man smoking? Is that culture too? Some of these things may be “cultural”, but that doesn’t always mean they’re wrong.

@@sammu everything equals out eventually brother even in cultural norms, I can see where she is coming from. And her points are valid to a degree, but again she is comparing herself to males. U just cant compare urself to males in freedoms he has versus a female, male has a freedom becoz its his duty to earn. U cannot start comparing a women's piousness with that of a male, males cannot afford to be shy and stay home but women have to. Now she also referred to him sinning by which she means fornication, which has equal punishment for both male and female in islam, but again fornication is more dangerous for a female than a male, she can get pregnant to start with and what would be the future of that child later? So therefore parents care more about their daughter's piousness than their sons You can hold a male accountable for financial shortcomings in islam but cannot do the same to a woman, now what if males in islam start complaining about that? What if they say that women should also be responsible to earn in islam? And believe me I have seen muslim parents completely cutoff their sons who dont earn, this is how cruel a world can become towards a male. But the same muslim parents never abandon their daughters becoz daughters and females require care and protection unlike males. Those same parents even advice her brothers to take care of her when they r no more. But males dont have this luxury of being looked after, after a certain age they r own their own.

@K. Kong Let me ask you a question: if Allah treats the sin as similar for both women and men and the hudood punishment is same for women and for men, who are we to treat them differently? You will let sociologists dictate what’s better or worse for society? Or is Allah the one telling us what to think and do? I would highly recommend you go to Ustadh Abu Taymiyyah’s KZbin channel and watch a video on this subject. He highlights this issue beautifully where if we give brothers a pass, our sisters will fall into same sins.

I'm so happy the brothers are finally turning their focus within the community rather then just inviting non Muslims and challenging their beliefs. It has become imperative that we mark and exposing the rampant modern secularised approach that many from the community hold, that clearly stand against the teaching of islam. We must clean up our own house as much as possible before challenging non Muslims Brother Daniel did a great job, debating a sister who had feminist, secular views on whether women should go out for higher educations and brother Daniel highlighted how careers have taken precedence over marriage and family raising. It was shocking to hear the sister and her stunted outlook, rather then that of what brother Daniel was underlining. I do believe the ummah needs a certain amount of deconstruction of modern, secularised outlooks that feed the individual but harm the society at large.
