​@@Sarma.k_123 in 2012 i visited Assam and at that time Assam was a very disturbed state, carfew everywhere, law and order was very poor, too much infiltration from Bangladesh (the demography was changing) but last year i visited Assam again and it was completely transformed, i didn't see any carfew anywhere, the law and order is very good now. You may call him corrupt but he has done a great job in Assam. Assam is developing rapidly, recently the state has got a semiconductor plant (it will create huge job opportunities) and it will also boosts the economy. The connectivity has also improved a lot (ex. Dr. Bhupen Hazarika Setu Dhola Sadiya Bridge, too many national highways and many more).
