Landa is not a double agent but an opportunist trying to get out from the losing side.
@natmanprime42958 ай бұрын
exactly, or why would he be so angry at the actress and strangle her?
@boristurovskiy3518 ай бұрын
Tarantino wanted to make this movie for a long time, but he couldn't find anyone who could play Landa, until he met Waltz.

Really enjoy watching BOTH of you... SUBTITLE should be written BETTER. EX: You said Hindi/Urdu word of "black" but subtitle used "nigor" which is not used nowadays, considered offensive. But I understand subtitle writer may not know this, I also didn't know before that it's offensive for black people...

I think it is important to understand this entire film is a whole cloth fabrication and never happened, at all.
@Makabert.Abylon8 ай бұрын
who ever said it was a documentary or based on real events? Quentin never said that either. Its a movie with characters loosely based on some real people. The basterds themselves are based on the very real X-Troop trained by the Britts. A secret group of jewish refugees that could blend in and do guerilla warfare amongst other things, capture and interrogate nazis.

I hate that analogy he makes about Jews and rats. Just like insects, rats are invasive, squirrels aren't, hence why we show animosity towards insects and rats. It's due to this invasivity that makes rats more prone to spread disease.
@emilianosintarias73378 ай бұрын
yes but that's the right wing psychology, bad things are seen as external, corrupting, invasive. I don't mean conservative psychology, but right wing (Franco, Hitler, etc)

@@terrortorn This is true. Zionists are everywhere. Especially Christian Zionists. You'd think Israel would listen to the Jewish people OF Israel and ceasefire now. It's not Jewish people who are trying to justify Genocide, it's more the Christian Zionists who won't allow there to be peace between the Palestinians and Israel. Kinda make's no sense doesn't it?

@@lawrencefine5020 A ridiculous comparison as there is no targeted ethic cleansing in Gaza. Remember that those from Gaza were the original aggressors so don't be surprised to get backlash from Israel! Besides Russia who mercilessly and shamefully attacked Ukraine would fit the bill as modern day Nazis!

I would not call him dictator...He is literally most supported germany leader in country history according to % of people
@Makabert.Abylon8 ай бұрын
“A dictator is someone who has absolute power - or who at least behaves as if they do by bossing others around. In government, a dictator is a ruler who has total control over a country, with no checks or balances to prevent abuse of power.”
@blackwolf7210008 ай бұрын
Hardly. His party was elected with a third of the vote, after that no free dissent was allowed anymore. Many German leaders after Hitler had higher democratic support.
