I have the current edt version but i wanna try the edp i just heard the edt is more modern and for some ppl performs beyter than current edp! I also just bought the must de cartier Gold and i love it too ! Very similiar .. just beautiful.. i hope others can smell it on me too it doesnt feel like a powerful projector but i absolutely love it

I BG love this perfume. Instant love for me too. It came to me as a special extra for something else I ordered. I love it. Have ordered a bottle. And it is very unisex.

Thank you ever so much for your brilliant review..I have been using Must de Cartier EDT and perfume for many many years.I also use Shalimar de Guerlain EDP and perfume and Obsession EDP by Calvin Klein..It's all down to how the skin reacts...I carry it wearing my favourite clothes by: Vivienne Westwood,Issey Miyake and Yohji Yamamoto.

Hi AC, good work as always. I do notice a lot of amber based fragrance disintegrate in the late dry down as you mentioned, which is so dissapointing. Ermenegildo Zegna Passion and Hermessence Ambre Narguile are examples of beautiful amber that don't disintegrate. Also look forward trying this Cartier.

Thanks for comment mate and I have to smell the Zegna so many thanks for the pointer. Ambre Narguile took me a long time to understand and you absolutely right about the dry down of it. This one will enthrall you as I can see you like quality scents and this one is HIGH QUALITY juice through and through!

I bought some based on this review. I'd say that although somewhat similar Must De Cartier Gold is quite distinct from Royal Oud. I much prefer Royal Oud, but Must De Cartier Gold isn't bad though. I'll probably keep the Cartier but probably wouldn't repurchase it. It would be nice to find a cheaper version of Royal Oud since I really like it. Oh well.....

Must de Cartier has been my signature scent since the 80’s. I Love it ♥️. I also get lots of compliments too. It is very feminine, elegant, and velvety. It’s not too sweet either. Great Review 💕

Are you still using Must de Cartier? I've never smelled it but am super curious about it due to its alleged similarity to my signature scent, Ck Obsession. Does MDC really smell like Obsession? I hear MDC is more natural, smoother, silkier, denser, more luxurious, less spicy, & more ambery....than Obsession. True? I'm also intrigued by MDC-Gold. Would you alternate it with MDC?

@@Anaborrellasalas I only tested MDC on a paper strip, not on my skin. But I recall how calming it is; it feels to me like a peaceful walk through a forest on a windless day. I must skin-test it someday. Have you tried Toujours Moi? It's a vintage oriental for women (1923), re-launched by Dana in 1995.

I never would have guessed this scent would remind you of Royal Oud based on the composition. Regardless, there was something in the Cartier DNA I didn't like. I've only tried 3 or 4 from this house so it I should let it influence my thoughts of their entire line...so one of these days I'll sample a few more. enjoyed.

Jim this was one of THE discoveries for me last year mate, it will instantly remind you of Royal Oud :). I was truly surprised and would have never thought it would go down that way. very sturdy fragrance as well, well worth sampling my friend :).

Royal Oud is among my favorite Creeds. That being said Im looking for something similar without the Creed price tag. I'll be sure to sample the is for myself. Excellent review my friend and keep up the great work.
