Not at this moment. I'm not sure I could run away from a bear right now. But I'm curious about the views from the top.

Loved the geology part, as it was once part of my job I learned :) Geologists can really determine when soil slides happen exactly. Once my boss predicted a slide that happened 10 years later and he was 1 month close to the slide :)

Yes, we did make it all the way to the end. We were very lucky to see all five major animals, most of them up close and personal. We spent a couple days at Back Country Lodge at the end of the road.A fantastic experience!

I learned that geography classes in certain other countries teach people that Aconcagua & Denali are on the same continent.

❤ So wish you had been able to go to mile 95, end of the road. Would have loved to hear you narrate the amazing story of Fannie Quigley. 😊 Her small cabin is there. She lived alone, for years, had cots & food for trappers passing through. 2010 on vacation , I took the long tour . My driver was from CA, doing his 10th yr. I was blessed, bc they only let him do that run once a week ! They had him doing the History Tours ! He would study the history every off season. It was a day I will never forget ! That day was 13 hrs ! Got rained on 4 times, but got to see Denali before & after each one. Each time we could see the storm coming ! The driver would say in 2 hrs we will get wet. He was right all 4 times ! That's how vast the wilderness is there ! Leaving, just like you, we seen a majestic bull Moose, causing " A Moose Jam !" We had made it past the gate so there were vehicles blocking the road bc everyone was out taking pics ! 😮Yes, dangerous ! Our driver got on his radio, called for help to break up the jam bc we were so late getting back !😂❤😊 So blessed to have met ya'll!! Love you, love what you do in sharing your talents & creativity, love your bus and your channel !! Thank you for sharing those blessings to all you meet physically or virtually. May great blessings continue to shower you. ❤

Hi Sheila! How's the snow up there? Here in Seward, we got wholloped! Wow, what an amazing journey you had going into the park! Who knows if we'll ever have that experience, as the road will re-open long after we've left Alaska 😥 It would be amazing to do it. Sending a big hug from Seward!

About 34" total at my place, for the 3 storms. Was exhausted from shoveling.( approx. 7k Sq ft) Still have the last storm of 15" to shovel. Lol ! Temps then dropped as low as -17. So all is ice. High for today was 5°F . Tomorrow high will be 25°F , yeah, will attack it then. So glad to here from you. Stay safe & cozy in Seward !! ❄️☃️ Sending hugs, & warm thoughts & love from Talkeetna !! ❄️🩵 Happy 🙏Thanksgiving !! 🫶

¡Impresionante Denali!

Love the geology lesson. I know exactly where you parked on the Nenana. I used to recommend that spot to tourists. I would've recommended Cabin Nite dinner theater show at the Denali Park Village hotel at Mile 231. It's entertaining, fun, and lots of food. The Savage River Loop trail is a fun and beautiful hike. Wow, you even talked about the Pretty Rocks landslide. Most locals don't know about that. Since you're so interested in history, I recommend reading Shem's Pete Alaska.

Our family did almost an identical trip to Denali National Park like you guys did in June 2024. The weather into the park was identical, and we didn't see Denali because of the clouds. I didn't stop at the mountain Vista but did check the dog sled. We saw dall sheep's, moose, grizzly bears, carribo, ptarmigan, fox, ground squirrel, and artic gull.
