Love your videos mate. Very informative. I recently got my cradle back from a shop here in Sydney, got new diff gears, Trutrac, IMS twin bush conversion and front cradle/diff superpro bushes. The car drives amazing now, rear end is so much more solid. Ordered the Superpro blade bushes, lower control arm bushes and sway bar bushes already before watching this video. Wish you posted this sooner so I could’ve known about Dalta Autosports for the aftermarket parts. Cheers!

Great video there George. I've got my AU Falcon back now so I can at some point to a video at some point and then send it over to you but will be in 20 second clip at a time because that is what I know I can send according to my computer. Unfortunately today I've had my car defected again " by some arrogant highway cop abusing his powers who some think because they have a uniform on they think they are better than anybody else but that ain't true. Soon as I get the car fixed I'm going to end up getting the car sold. Nothing wrong with the car. Even my mechanic is angry over the whole thing. So frustrating. I'm probably gonna end up buying my Dad's AU ll Falcon Forte wagon which is better condition than mine - yeah not perfect but still better than mine sadly because of the collision I had last year before Christmas. I'll do a video in my Dad's AU wagon and send it to you. There may be 20 or so clips each time because from what my computer is telling me I can only send each clip 20 seconds a time - I'll carefully label them.

I've done a lot of the same mate, I've gotten down to a 3.2 sec 0 to 100 on the street so far. Bit late now but an idea is to do all that to a ba bf cradle, you pick up about 20mm more clearance for big tyres. Then there's the 1400hp Axel's and hubs which is a killer on the wallet lol

@@Spartendude1 I have done Vikings double adjustable suspension, standard rear springs, adjustable camber arms, all superpro bushes except the outrigger bushes which are Whiteline ones that I have filled with Sikaflex to make them solid, trutrac, 15x8 wheels with 275/60/15 raidens ,1400hp Axel's and twin bush IMS diff hat. Also around the 700kw mark, leaving the line at about 5psi off the foot brake

Took my fg of the road recently to build her up slowly. Is mint 140k on clock Drives better than new with the recent suspension and brake upgrades. I reckon in 5 years when I’m done it will be even better and rare low ks. Fun 😀

I reckon IMS diff hat is mandatory for any turbo Falcon. The standard set up is a joke, I did 2 replacements (under warranty) and then decided to do it properly for the 3rd. Put a truetrac in too, though the stock LSD did a pretty good job. I also considered those control blades but add cost of new rear wheels and BS prices for tyres that wide, was an easy decision to stick with the 275s.

@@georgeauto nothing crazy, still running stock gt3582 on 98, separate tunes for track and street with the highest being around 370rwkw. Enough power I reckon, but I wanted it to be reliable too so it's built to handle a lot more. I drive this thing pretty hard and only the rear tyres complain!

Great videos mate, have you had any issues with rear wheel bearings not lasting long? I have a BF turbo and its slightly lowered with SL springs but the last set of rear wheel bearings lasted 10000km before they were howling

im not sure mate, guessing their is a few clips / screws you need a plastic trim puller to get off, or try and use a screwdriver to pry up from underneath what looks like a screw. worked for me, easily damaged though so be careful

Got a completely different rear end set up, if you have a base model sedan forte futura etc you will have a live rear axle with a watts link suspension if you have a ute/wagon you will have leaf springs. However if you have a XR6 VCT/ XR8/Fairmont Ghia or a LTD/Fairlane you will have the Double Wishbone IRS which is known as the best suspension set up ford has ever put in a falcon I would even go as far as also better then any Holden set up…… Diff bushes don’t need to be replaced ever 25 thousand kms and the AUs are definitely the best handling falcon out of the box so to answer your question no this isn’t necessary but you can get a superpro bush kit to freshen it up but very expensive 👍🏼
