I use the Loreal liquid blush and I put it over powder with no problems whatsoever. It can be done!

Hi Maryam, Yahoooo it’s Yearly Favorites 🥳💜 I went to the beauty supply shop and they had a metal spoolie and wow it makes a huge difference in my brows and getting the gel through my brows and shaping them also using a flat brush to push in the product. That was a great tip you shared with us in the video where you pointed it out ❤️ I appreciate when you showed us how you do your brows in that same video! One thing I really appreciate about you among many other things is when you film your monthly favorites, favorite makeup of the year you apply the products to your face instead of just showing the products. It reminds me of how you use the products and I’m reminded of products that I forgot about. I know without a doubt I can absolutely trust your opinion on anything you try! I don’t consider Pixi as Drugstore but a lot of the “Drugstore brands” keep climbing in price so dramatically I think we will end up with a third tier like you mentioned. Tower 28 and LYs are two brands that I immediately think of sold at Sephora and I consider their prices to be around the same as Pixi Cosmetics. I have and use some of the products that made your yearly drugstore favorites, I will say the new Hard Candy lash primer and mascara and the Milani cram bronzer and the Colourpop BFF liner are definitely my favorites of the year! I swear BFF has been around longer, I could be totally wrong. I feel like I’ve been using it forever now. Wonderful video, you look amazing!! I would never be able to tell “oh that’s a drugstore brand” 🥰 Do you know how you are going to do your yearly favorites of the more expensive brands yet? Theres been so many great releases this year. In the Drugstore category, the mid level category and high end category. I would definitely love to see what your favorite makeup of 2024 is. I always love your recommendations.

I used to be a high end only person but money is tight these days so am getting more into drugstore and I agree there are some great stuff. I like a lot from ELF and Nyx which are my two most used for most categories, and also maybelline for mascaras, liners and the powders, and Milani for lipsticks and blush. I wish Colourpop was available in the UK, it's that one American brand that we have to buy when visiting the US, even though to you guys it's probably just a normal drugstore brand.

Drugstore make up has come a long way I think, I remember loving some eyeshadow palettes but they would not last all way, but at the time couldn't afford anything else.
