This is amazing. I was bit overwhelmed this morning as I have practically lost my business speaking language due to working from home and taking junior positions where I barely present any document or engage actively with teams online. This video is encouraging me that I can do it again. Thank you Annemarie, you really nailed it.

English is my second language, and I was amazing in presentations during my time studying the language and later collage. However, Now I feel the same as you as if I lost my skills in this area and it is frustrating.

Hey! GREAT lesson!! Thank you! I have one quick question... What to do or what to say if the participants don't want to turn on the camera during a meeting?
@Speakconfidentenglish3 жыл бұрын
I always give my students the choice of whether to turn their camera on or not but I do encourage them to do by sharing that the class is more engaging when we can see each other. I'm also a better teacher when I can see my students faces because I can see whether they are following the lesson, feeling confused, etc.
