I love the idea having a buffer time! I usually take this time having a coffee or working out a little bit like 10 to 15 mins. It really helps me refresh to start a new task!
3 жыл бұрын
The favourite expressions that I learned were : MIT (most important taks), because I have many to handle while I work and this lesson taught me how to prioritize this tasks. Buffer time: because in pandemic times we need to organize our calendar to not spend all the time in meetings. Overhelm: many times, in my projects, I felt that "I bit off more than I could chewed" so this have caused me a big overhelm.

Frankly speaking, eliminating half-work is challenge for me to reduce changing shift energey. One of my time management tips is set up “Clean out day” every 2 to 3 weeks to clear any procrastination works in a day. After the cleaning my to-do-list filled with things made my heart heavy, I could get fresh better than ever!

Dear Annemarie, thank you so much for this precious lesson and for all the tips in it. Time management has always been a big challenge to me and I'm sure starting from a time audit will help emprove my optimization strategy. I also enjoyed the "biting off more than we can chew" idiom, which is something I usually do when I start a new project. Something I need to revise as well. :) Have a nice day, Francesco

Tks a lot for this amazing lesson. 1. I think one of the fundamental reason why I often fail in time management is to bite off more than I can chew. I did make lots of changes at the time and get overwhelmed after few days doing that. 2. I already creat time audit through out my phone so that I can know which half work distract me. 3. Trying set aside an hour per day to practice english is my daily goal, but social media sometime set me apart from my goal.

Thanks for the lovely lesson, I liked it indeed. I am going to use the word " buffer time " very often in my coming conversations. I knew this word but i missed using it for a while. The technique i used before and found it useful is the task grouping or what you call it ( batch your tasks ) because you can execute number of tasks with the same mood and same mental capacity that does not require more preparation, that is why you will execute 2 or 3 folds than switching among non similar tasks. I appreciate your efforts Ann

Good morning! I appreciate you for this video. It was handy for me in particular. I usually start my workday by planning all necessary tasks in advance and writing them down in my calendar, and then I try to follow all these tasks step by step. Unfortunately, I often switch a context so many times during the day, and this habit doesn't allow me to concentrate on something really important. I've decided to implement your advices in my life and probably will begin with scheduling buffer time and not distract myself on social media or other stuff in the middle of doing something.
