Great job chris I was in St Joe this weekend and had some good success with 10 coho, 5 lakers, 2 kings at sun up, and 1 steelhead on our 2 day trip. They said the king bite and coho bite has slowed down from what it was a week ago so the fish are heading north!

@@tangledtacklefishing Writing from South Dakota commending you a fine job of getting legitimate reporting and great info out to the salmon fishing world. I do have a question: I ended up with 2000 yds. of solar green berkley big game mono and am wondering if I can get away with this hi vis line on downriggers tying directly to the flasher/fly??? I could add a top shot of clear (15 ft or so) but hate to add another knot if not needed. We typically fish presentations from 50 ft. down in the water column or deeper.

@@jimstanton1854 my honest answer is that I just don't know, but I will say that the only time I use Hi-Vis line is for backer on my long lines. My gut feeling is that you would do much better with a clear line or at least an attached clear leader.
