Just curious do you think silica increases bud density in the same way it help fatten stocks/branches? Like a organic (packabud ornamental supplement)

Which you would never ever ever use on growing your special lady’s!!!! (Packabud) 😵‍💫 silica I’m interested because I wounder if it increases all plant matter in developing? It would make sense to also fatten buds

Overlooked mistake, some people think they always need to be doing something. I often remind myself to take a step back, allowing the plant to do its Thang.

I use silica for the first time in my grow the run I'm about to finish up in the next week. it has definitely made my plants stronger and thicker. one plant I have has 15-20 tops and it can't hold itself up at this point. the branches are almost 3 foot long and they flop around but still don't break. it's a vanilla zoap so it's a stretcher. i can say for my personal preference I will always run it in my grows from now on.

Looking clean on a Tuesday morning my guy. I think a lot of people just way over think growing and complicate things for themselves. I always say just pop some beans and go from there. I think they watch to many videos then try hitting their ladies with everything under the sun and wonder why their having so many problems. That and some people just can’t leave them alone for a day.

Preach brother, thats the mistake I was making a ton. Once I started leaving them and just checking them (not touching) once in the morning and once at night things got better exponentially, for me thats the first time seedlings grew fast, strong and healthy.

This video was timely. I'm about to start my next grow. Last one, which was my first grow I was scared to train them. Yeah, I ended up with almost 7 feet high plants and I'm under 5 feet tall. Had to climb a step ladder to take care of them. My "Tent" If you could call it that, was PVC pipes with Mylar sheets taped to it. That was an adventure.

I snapped a main stem in half. Being to forceful with the tie down or stake. Bleach everything to kill Hplvd. Tying them down seems to make really strong branches. Always heard vermiculite and perlite add silica, but vermiculite is used to improve water retention, while perlite is used to increase drainage.

Number 389 here! Never been a fan of the trellis net myself ether I got 2 for my 4x4 and did a double decked net and there was way to much to manage with the net I have never used one since and only use silica now. I do use silica kinda heavy though I use silica blast in higher doses

i have a 3x3 and I don't have the space to use a net it's a pain in the ass. i like to take my plants out and work on them sometimes and I can't do that with a net. i think I got more bud with using silica this time than I ever did with a net. plants are way chonkyer too.

Hating on bag seed is a fallacy ..... I have run Grimm glue 5x. it's one of the best tasting & potent plants. Yields raging from a QP to a half elbow. Originally came from bag seed. I ran 20 plus plants, and only a couple of them were destroyed due to hermaphrodite. If you like it, grow it.

Brilliant advice mate, thank you. My babies hatched from the cococoir and poked their heads through on the 26th November, they have the 5th set of true leaves developing now but I’m having patchy, kinda uniformed lime green/yellowing on all growth. The first set of true leaves (seconded to develop after the croyotte leafs (however you spell it) have mostly turned yellow and have random, small brown spots on them. Also slight leaf tip curling down, tiny leaf tip burn but Ive fed them twice with 2/12th’s feed. (Which I now know is far far too low, so doubt it’s nuts burn, could it be multiple deficiencies?

He is right f¹ is pretty stable the offspring is more likely to take after the male and or female. As to where once you hit f² and f³ and so on you open up the genetics alot more and you end up with way more variations until you find a pheno you like then bx to re-stableize the genetics.

Here’s a good question/subject for a video. ChatGPT has been telling me that when growing autos you should run a lower PPFD to achieve a more optimal DLI between 25-40 for flowering. To achieve a DLI in that range on even a 18/6 light schedule your PPFD is in the 500’s. I know you haven’t run autos in a while but what’s your take on this?

F1 is the most stable by creation alone. The creators intent wasn’t the f2, no people that wasn’t even possible without the very stable f1 to piggyback off of. Thats just facts and good old common sense.

It’s so difficult to get a good coco coir/perlite mix like kings mix/roots organic original or even cock coir Mother Earth. Prices are extremely high for those and where I’m located in Texas hardly any store carries those brands. None actually. Home Depot doesn’t carry anything good either. Miracle grow is old school and doesn’t work for hemp plants.

Regarding f1's I think the problem is legit breeders consider a ibl cultivar breed with ibl cultivar makes f1 seeds. The common person thinks when you pop 2 random strain then cross random plants from random seeds with 0 selective breeding people are calling this f1. When doing that is just pollen chucking
