Great finds! Many items that planner shops are selling per piece can be found on Amazon in a larger quantity and for much cheaper (like stick on pockets). Wanted to mention that Eleven Discs and Talia are great options too for discbound supplies. I absolutely love Eleven Discs inserts too. I have the Filofax personal wallet too (in the Malden leather). The ring inserts also can slide into other covers too (various TNs for example). It's very handy to have. I do wish they hadn't put stiffener into the cover too, if it was squisy like other Maldens, it would be perfect (I'm not into stiff and structured at all).

hello, thanks for the info, i have a question, on the thermal printer, since it works with heat, once printed if you further expose the heat sensitive paper to sunlight or light will it eventually turn black?

Great question! So I’ve noticed that the picture fades a little bit over time but I haven’t noticed it turning black at all. I just keep the notebook at home so it’s not particularly exposed to sunlight or light so not sure if that helps at all!

I really find discs to be annoying because how much they stick out. However, the Filofax covers do cover the rings. Wish there was the Fiskars here, I had to buy a version that DK had available. I have not got my CoC from Hobonichi yet, so I put my weeks in my light blue Filofax zip, that was popular in 2020. There is a mint one, and I want it but do not need it. I have 3 hobonichi weeks covers. I hate the Notey covers since they are fake leather, and I have had it with flaking and polluting our water (autistic bluntness sorry). I do not like the pebbled leather. It is cowhide leather, for the Morterm. As a Indigenous person from North America, I believe to use all parts of the animal that we use for substance, gets used in some way. People are going to eat meat, might as well use the hide. Have you had issues with the thermal printing fading, like receipts?

The paper definitely does fade a little bit so I wouldn’t use it for super important things! For me I kind of like the fade to add to the old/vintage feeling hehe! Thanks so much for watching!

I have found Filofax Notebooks to be really good substitute for the disks. At first sight they don't look like the same thing at all, but the pages are punched in a similar way and can be pulled out and re-inserted in a very similar way too - but there are no big rings to stick out. It's like a spiral bound notebook, but with big gaps between the wires.

I’ve used small purse or pocket size (around 3x5 or 4x6) spiral bound weekly planners for years. For 2023, I really want s Christian one with scriptures or short prayers scattered throughout. Maybe you or your KZbinr planner network will know of a source. If so, please reply to this comment. Seems to me this is a market niche yet to be filled.
