Well I didnt plan that - my intention was it goes smoothly BUT when I looked at it I was like 🤔 Why doesn’t it look the same? I did the same technique…🤷🏻‍♀️ But quickly realized - I don’t like it I’m so glad I did t just go with it I mean the technique I changed was very small but made such a difference Shows how important scale IS I’m happy NOW 😁

Keep at it love! Most nail biters find they actually stop when they have nice nails on often, and they'll do wonders for your natural nail growing out underneath!

Although in France I'm sure you have way better restrictions similar to the UKs (please forgive me if France is under the UK, I'm completely geographically challenged!) But still the cosmetics (including nail products) restrictions and whatnot on allergy causing ingredients over there is usually sooooo much better. So you'll likely be fabulously safe regardless but it's still good for anyone doing their own nails to learn. Ok, gonna stop rambling, have fun!! ❤️

I've always agreed with cameraman on the glossy top coat. 🙂 Glossy looks better with encapsulated mylar, glitter, abalone shells, etc. BUT these definitely are better with matte. I liked the matte better, personally. It shows more of the design details. Shiney is great, but the lighting creates additional 'white' lines on the nail and pull away from the design. Love this technique! Definitely going to give this one a try. 💅💖💖💖

I would love a video talking about different nail charms and gems that are really big, 3d, or bigger charms/ gems that aren’t curved. I did a set with 3d butterflies that were relatively small, but no matter how much encapsulating I did, they kept getting caught on my hair, clothes, and basically everything I was doing. I have a lot of bow charms but they aren’t curved so I have to encapsulate the sides heavily.

For this particular design, I really did not want too much shine. I really just wanted a very flat airbrush kind of look almost like a watercolor.

Matte looks 100 percent better, it’s astounding the difference it makes between the set. I hate how the gloss makes this particular design look and I’m always team shiny 😭😭This is one of the best sets of nails I’ve seen all year honestly. Also if you used white acrylic would that have made this design easier instead of white polish ?? I’m dying to know.
