MUST KNOW BASIC Swordsoul Combos for May 2023

I tried it in many ways the deck with the new dragon the one I liked the most was with the bystials and small world that allows you to search every card in the deck even through handraps like ash and droll , not only the combi ti bystials allow you to make a very strong board with the new bystial synchro and 3 other synchros like baron and 2 lvl 8 , truly a tech that I have not seen anyone play

So I know you mentioned you can go into Yazi & use Baron to pop Yazi for effect but can you explain why would you use Baron effect to pop when I thought Yazi can pop himself with his own effect to trigger his other effect?

You'd do it turn 0 if your opp dosent have a card for you to pop in order to exstend your combo

@@zephyrwargamesyugioh Oh is it because Yazi needs to have a target on opponents field in order for the effect to go thru? & What’s turn 0? Sorry I’m kinda new to the game so I’m still learning

@@kevinvelez-wk5bv yeah opp needs a card to be popped by yazi. I meant turn 1, But if you hear the term turn 0 It's if you go second and you interact with your opp it's their 1st turn, technically its your turn 0

wait, so “new” swordsoul is now just “open the 3 of, or bust”? Apple dragon is such a dud, not even a wyrm.

You can search it with Small World and it’s token is a wyrm. On top of that small world can get you into starters or hand traps like droll easily. I run 2 apple and 2 small worlds. Have yet to brick with it.

Not at all the deck still does the same combos as before, the new apple dragon is just another option that you have to increase the power of the end board, as mentioned in the other comment you can search it through Small world so you have another 2-3 copies of it.
