I LOVED Very Valentino. Finally bought some at a discounter some 15 years ago... by the time I went through the bottle and needed more, it was no longer around for me. So glad to see someone bringing it back to life. I will pick up a bottle.

Ash, I like the Middle East clones but Alexandria and Dua make some bangers too. Dua’s Poseidons Absolu Elixer is spot on to the new Aventus Absolu and it lasts longer because it’s an extrait. I think you might really like that one, check it out.

It's amazing that you were wearing Drakkar in the the third grade. I'd like to draw the comparison to Tiger Woods playing golf as a boy - The exception is that I doubt you had the advantage of your dad pushing you to become a fragrance master. Rasasi doesn't get the attention it deserves imo. Three of my faves from the house that I don't think you've covered are: Qasamat Rasana (an Aventus twist with a great apple note); La Yuqawam Ambergris Showers (apparently a Memo Irish Leather clone, though I've never smelled the original); and Sotoor Waaw (an original as far as I can tell with great cardamom, cinnamon, and walnut notes).

So, if Dareej is a clone of Valentino V pour homme and Victory is a clone of Very Valentino, then V and Very were extremely similar scents because Victory smells like Dareej in a different bottle. Now, I'm not upset because I was actually thinking about getting a backup of Dareej anyway lol. Maybe, Victory will change in the coming weeks because I literally just got it seconds ago.

You did not include my favorite - spring - summer cheapie clone of Terre d'Hermes called Fattan . This one imo. is a true hidden gem and at $25 or under is a Steal !! I Have over 100 fragrances ( 75% clones ) , and this one is always in my regular warm weather rotation .

Done with rasasi, finally got hawas last month cause it was "BEAST MODE" lasted about 45 min then skin scent. Asked people to smell me and they couldn't smell anything. Honestly I think they rode this hype train and the new batches are cheap quality

I had the same experience as you when I bought mine last year. First spray it was strong then after a while dead. Fast forward to today, I just sprayed mines twice on my wrist 20 mins ago and it filled up my bedroom. You have to spray it a few times and let it sit. Mines has been sitting for MONTHS and it macerated this whole time. This thing is monstrous.

A lot of people have had that problem with that fragrance lately. Could be a reformulation or the manufacturer is not properly macerating. Either way I returned my bottle because it's not my job to figure that out

EXACTLY! Honestly I think they're being shady and just trying to ride the hype train as long as they can because when people see influencer reviews, they're mostly from 2021 and the product now is not the same

If you don't know anything about perfume, then your mindset is understandable, but waiting a few weeks to a month is hardly a big ask considering you're paying a fraction of the cost of most overpriced western designer scents. Want it "ready to go" out of the box? Then pay the price.

Lol just yesterday I smelled them both. My personal opinion? Intense. It smells like a sharp lemon aftershave. The regular edp is also amazing, much more of that woody masculine smell, probably objectively better and going to be more liked. They are at the end of the day very similar, but intense is more sharp lemon fresh smell, while edp is more Herby woody masculine. So go with whatever you think sounds better to you.

I don't know about you guys...but these new Rasasis didn't do anything for me. I guess I'm getting spoiled by other brands like Lattafa, Paris Corner and Fragrance world, but Rasasi packaging is very minimal. Nothing really. No nice presentation. The bottles, again, simplistic. And the scents they are trying to replicate, Drakkar? Really?? 🤮. Plus Rasasi is not cheap for a middle-eastern house. Easy pass for me on all of these.
