I ran across this Fat Quarter Quilt pattern on Tiny Orchard Quilts. She has the best patterns and she made a fat quarter quilt top in an hour with this pattern. I need a quilt in a hurry and I had the fat quarters at hand. I finished the whole quilt in less than 5 hours and that includes the binding! Join me for this fast fat quarter quilt. You can choose to make the quilt top in an hour and quilt the old fashioned way or you can try quilt as you go. Either way - this is one quick quilt.

Nice job April, & pretty fabrics.I've been trying to get involved with going back to Church lately. I love the little childrens smiling faces. I'm itching to sew something. My daughter's passing away, just after Thanksgiving, set me back for awhile. Christmas was very hard for me. I'm pushing myself to do more now. This quilt is too challenging for me, so I'm going to make just a table runner for now, with this method. I am so sorry about the loss of your daughter - that has to be hard. I hope you can find strength in the Lord and he will lead you through your sorrow. Church is an excellent place to be during this time. I find sewing very therapeutic - I hope you do as well. Stay strong and I will definitely keep you and your family in my prayers. I think I tend to be a quilter with the same style as you. I just finished making 16 quilts for the family for Christmas and since it was was first year quilting, I spent a huge amount of time trying to make them “my style “.
