Plan on selling your home, in Ocean County, NJ, in 2024?
You are going to want to hear this!
Both ZILLOW and RealtorDotCom tell us the "best" months of the year to list your house for sale are April and May. Unfortunately, that's exactly when EVERYONE else wants to sell their house too!
Which means, if you want to get the HIGHEST PRICE for your house, you do NOT want to list it when you have the most competition. You want to list your house for sale when you have the LEAST competition... February and March!
Not only does listing your home for sale in the winter net you more money but it gives you more leverage when it comes to negotiating the terms of your contract for sale too.
Home-buyers will wait until May or June to close on your house in 2024 and that gives you more time and flexibility to find your next home, when there is MORE inventory in April and May!
LIST your home for sale with the REALTOR who not only knows the market but also knows HOW to market!
