Hello Jason! A few years back I saw a video of Jack Storms work. AMAZING!!! He made a very large egg and a large cube and he showed how he achieved this incredible beauty by using the most intricate glass-making method I have ever seen. I was literally astounded. To have pieces from his glass genius is truly a gift! Enjoy them. The dragonfly took my breath away. I have a large collection of butterfly and dragonfly brooches, some in gold and precious stones but mostly vintage hallmarked costume jewelry. They are the most elegant of insects. Jason, thanks so much for sharing! I love the juxtaposition of these two highlighted pieces. Both are just stunning! I have a tiny & rather non-significant collection of jewelry that I have not worn in years. This kind of wakes me up! (I'm old, lol... 56 in10 days). I need to send you a photo of a spider broach that my neighbor gifted to me when I was in my late teens. It was from the collection of her mother-in-law that was a jewelry buyer in NY from the 30s to 50s (I think, if I remember correctly, lol). She had some of the best stuff I have ever seen (until you)! When I lived in Atlanta, in the 80s, the owner of a vintage store in Little 5 Points chased me down the street wanting to buy my spider broach on my beautiful vintage velvet coat. I was delighted in her delight, but it was not for sale. Thank you for giving me a spark! I look forward to seeing your interview with Jack Storms! P.S.
