Wow...in 1953 when EAA was being envisioned, I came to this earth from my mom...at Fairchild AFB in Spokane. Both of us turned 71 this year 😅!!!

The Poberenzy's are gone, and so is the EAA's main focus on homebuilts. Pelton for instance, comes from the production aircraft companies. Now they focus on production aircraft, military, airshows. ultralights, and have turned their back on homebuilts in many ways. Many of these other focuses would be better suited to the AOPA fly-in. Until they find their roots, and get back to what brought them to where they are now, which is homebuilts, I'll stay away from Oshkosh. I do appreciate the political reforms they've worked on.

Yes ! I never heard of Baley. Did Cristy bail out? They wanted Christi to do a parachute jump in the past as I recall and she was not enthused to say the least. That was at OSH last year.

Christy will be there, after she finishes her work schedule. I believe at least 5 days doing the normal daily interviews at the Flying Eyes booth.

"Credit" is due him for a lot of things, 99% negative. Including DEI of the Secret Service and ATC, the border INVASION, the Afghanistan debacle, the politicizing of the DOJ, paying off student debt to buy votes. Etc......
