@@peterschmidt4212 no, now everyone expects these cards to be worth something in the future and so everyone is treating them carefully but back then mostly only children bought these cards and played alot with them or carried them around to school, friends places and just anywhere, stuffed between all of their other things somewhere on the bottom of their backpacks, not giving a crap about the condition of the cards. its hard to come by these cards in a decent condition now, 20 years later, while every other card that will be bought these days will be treated way better ,just in case it could be worth something in the future, making them worth less if mostly all of them are in great condition 20 years from now.

I would tell my parents about their future worth and tell them to buy all the cards we can find, it would make them worth even more if only a few people in my city would own any of these 1st edition cards LOL but then I would also need to make sure that my parents keep these cards locked away from me, because I am quite sure, even if I know the worth, as a kid I wouldnt be able to hold back to check whats inside these packs lol.. cant just look at these packs not wanting to know haha

This is one of the craziest pack openings I have ever seen. Damn, thanks for sharing. Just love your videos. I just started collecting cards this week. As a kid I didn't have the money to buy the cards. Only cards I had were those my friends didn't want or cards I found on the streets. Opened my first pack today and pulled a Salamance Holo from Evolving Skies. My first pull is a Holo, so happy about it.

Ok, I am going to probably annoy everyone here, but I am out of beer and tacos so i am grouchy. it looks like you are pressing way too hard as you are holding those cards, and there is ALOT of excess skin contact on those edges that could easily be avoided. You can see the indents in your flesh at all points of contacts- your thumb (top left of cards) is indented alot, and the right sides where your finger is holding them you can see the flesh of your fingers being "squeezed". Even the lower left bottom corners of the cards that are cushioned in your palm as you are sliding the cards to reveal them, looks like they are held too tight also. Plus, it's never good to "slide" the cards as you reveal them, as you are rubbing the edges against your skin which by nature is rough, let alone the blemishes caused by the flat side sliding across the top of the bottom card (those holos can be scratched easily by the top card being pressed down, even slightly, as it slides across). Best and easier way is just to lift the card up with 2 tiny points of contact of the fingers. I know I am sounding anal, but a $90K box. and you screaming prices for a PSA 10 would be no bueno, especially if those cards were indeed 10s to start out, but under the microscopic lense and bright lights of a PSA Grader, those became 9s and 8s due to the micro blemishes created by the "handling". When 90% of a card's edges and corners make contact with skin and are pressed, as well as slid against skin, blemishes are definitely created... Need more tacos.

Did anyone notice @58:10 on the Nidoking, the Holo was just a tad off-center to the right? Y ou can see white along the left edge and the right edge looks dark as if the holo was printed on the yellow square around the whole image.
