I visited there when I was 16 (10 years ago) when I went into the female dungeon, I could smell that smell too.. I could feel the presence of the ancestors. I started to cry

Thank you for sharing this with the world. I was introduced to your video by a history professor at Columbia Theological Seminary in Georgia, United States. Prior to this, I was ignorant of the pains and hurts that happened in this horrific place. I am in tears just thinking of the sort of pain your ancestors experienced here. I pray for your wellbeing, the ancestors' spirits, their descendants, and our world - that such horror as this will cease. My heart aches. I'm sharing this video with others who are as ignorant as I was. Thank you for making this effort to educate us.

ONE TRUE GOD I understand what you’re saying and I do agree it’s time for the African and African American cultures to get the recognition they deserve from cultural appropriation but at the same time no society should erase their history. We can read about Slave castles in books and online all day but it will never compare to the actual feeling of being there and taking in the environment with all your senses. You get a true grip of life and it sinks you down to reality real quick compared to sitting in a comfortable environment and reading or watching a video.

Daniel John H Well maybe it's good for some of us .... But I myself see nothing but what we have always been taught, slave's .... How about Ghana work on giving black people in the America's some type of reparations since they are so aware of what was done to us? There's no action in dwelling on something tragic without healing !!!!

We are punished according to what u just said but murders, rapists, thieves and liars are given a free pass. Now this same god said no man shall steal, murder because it wrong in his eyes. Sorry i can't accept what u said that we are being punished while others are given a free hand to do evil.
