France defended Black people in their country when they won the FIFA World Cup, saying that they are French, not Africans. Black Americans are Americans. There are black German who don't associate with Africa, there are also Caribbeans, Jamaicans and many other black people who moved to other continents during slavery or before and they don't see themselves as Africans.
