I live in flushing and being a non East Asian, it’s hard to know a good place to try a Far East Asian spot for good food! I don’t have enough Asian friends to tour me around even though I’ve lived here since 1986! Thanks for the tour!

I live in Flushing, there are so many other hidden gems, dumplings, hot & sour soup, might want to give Tian Jin a try they are now on Kissena Blvd. Oh, and right across from the New Flushing Bakery, is a take out place for quick Chinese food, great chicken on a stick, and other items all around 2 to 3 dollars per item.

Those places never get old. No matter what, they're maaaaaad delicious. Also Asian sweets, I like to beg to differ because they can be overly sweet. Moreover, Korean category. No joke, much of modern Korean food trend is mad sugary/sweet.
@nom_life4 жыл бұрын
oh really? we usually find asian sweets less buttery / sugary than western desserts-- curious to try these sweet korean desserts though!
@ravenks1sr154 жыл бұрын
@@nom_life oh yea in Korea, they're way more crazy about anything sweet than we are lol. From bread, beverages, pizza, burgers, toast, etc.
@lucin25864 жыл бұрын
Yeah Indian sweets are hella sweet too!

My sister told me the other day, shes like you know you're getting old when you compliment a dessert by saying, "oooh it's so good, not too sweet!" Cos that's what I said about the taro sago she made 🤣😭

We try to bring our utensils around from place to place so we don't have to grab new ones at each spot, but agreed we could do better! Need to have a little carrying case for our chopsticks!!

I really enjoy your Instagram and now these videos. I've actually taken your recommendations on my visits back to NYC. But maybe not so many F-bombs?? It's definitely not as widely shareable because it has swearing in it.

thanks for supporting! 🙏 What's your favorite spot so far? haha i can't be censored !! but i know swearing isn't for everyone x
