How is it street food when it is not sold on the streets. In Macau and Hong Kong, there are carts on the street where you can buy Charsui and Hainese Chicken rice. Does Singapore have street food. I have been to the hawker center in Chinatown, that was like a food court.

Apologies for the confusion. I guess for myself, hawker food earns the label 'street food' due to its deep-rooted history. Where in the early days of Singapore, these dishes actually first peddled along the streets or from tricycles. In modern times, those 'street food' had transformed into food readily available in public spaces, such as Food Courts and Kopitiam.

Yeah, you noticed that! In terms of size, they are indeed bigger than most of the hawker centres around our neighbourhood.
