Future sushi is a great name! A vegan youtuber that we follow use that same type of vegan fish. We would be so curious to try it. I can imagine the maki is easier to imitate. Yes to the bulgogi option! 🙌

Its really interesting to see which of the rolls were on point and which ones weren't. We love salmon, tuna and shrimp, so it would be a big miss for us if they were too much off. Glad to see you both enjoyed most of them.

All the rolls are on point 👌🏻 If we pick our faves, it would be the chicken katsu one and the korean one. So delicious!

Vegan Japanese Food?? Wow! This is so new to us, never had vegan sushi or any Japanese food at all. Incredible the great work that many restaurants are doing with vegan options. Seems like the tuna and salmon are delish! Yum! Chicken katsu, we love the regular one, wondering how Lieles would react to the vegan one without telling him that is not actualy chicken.

We have a neko store here but it's a toy store. Both the dumplings and the ramen looks incredible. The noodles look do perfect. 😍Not sure which of the two bowls we would choose.

Ah so cool! I wonder what “neko” means in Japanese if there is a such word? I would say we both prefer the yuzu kosho ramen than the tan tan ramen if we are to choose. 😃

Gokce doesn't eat pork either (and I rarely eat it), so glad to see Neko Neko get the gyoza and ramen pretty on point. Gokce would also love that Miso based ramen... and now we suddenly want to rush to the nearest ramen spot when we're back in NY! 😂

It would be super interesting to try the vegan ramen, for us because of the soy milk, we are not big fans of soy milk, but we love soy. The noodles look perfectly cooked. That cheese pocket is calling my name lol Great video guys, love discovering new things and restaurant specialties through your lens

Haha we couldn't do vegan sashimi! A little too funky for us. Now the vegan ramen we could definitely get down with! Can imagine vegan gyoza being really good if the veggie filling is flavorful. We love veggie-filled dumplings.

Yup a bit funky we agree for vegan sashimi. The taste is still quite far from the real thing haha. That ramen is so tasty! Even non vegans/vegetarians can easily eat it 😆

Yes Vegan food!! Sushi looks great mmm!! 😋 I can't believe they don't use real fish! At least it's similar in taste, but yeah, I can tell too when something is Vegan. Whoa Vegan ramen? I would love that! I definitely think Vegan food is getting more mainstream and is in a lot of menus already!

Wow ~ the sushi, katsu and ramen all look so delicious! It's amazing to see such a range of vegan options avaiable 😋 It's so hard to find vegan Japanese food in general in SG, especially vegan sushi (other than the standard cucumber, vegtables or pickles) :( The plant based seafood alternatives look and sound so interesting, and I hope it'll be avaiable here soon!!!

Ah yes I think this is also the first all vegan sushi restaurant in Melbourne if we’re not mistaken. So we feel you that it is difficult to fing vegan Japanese food in SG. It is also not common here 😅

this looks very interesting. The fake meat stuff are usually a hit or miss. Good to know Peter likes Unagi! my favourite too! I definitely would to try these as I am open to vegan food.

The vegan sushi 🍣 and ramen looks pretty interesting. Think it'd be pretty hard to get the rich flavor in the broth without meat 🍖 🤔 hahahaha Peter I'm confused what I'm eating when it comes to the various components in vegan food too 😂

Haha yeah it can be somewhat confusing when eating vegan food for non vegans/vegetarians, especially when it comes to mock protein and tasty broth without any protein involved 😆

I haven't been to collingwood in the longest time. The only sushi shop i go to is hinoki sushi pantry. but the hidden gem and number one go to that never fails me is tonkin. they do pho in a way thats equal if not cleaner than hung voung 2 on victoria street. the chicken wings at tonkin is killer. typing this i might have to drop into tonkin tomorrow. and no i don't work there!
