1) Yes, ignou take admission in 2 slots every year.( January and july) 2) you can't do this course from abroad as mcaol exams are still taken at exam centre where you need to be physically present. 3) bridge courses will be included in your 1st sem syllabus automatically. No need to worry about it. All study material and assignments will be provided in LMS portal.

IGNOU launched online MCA in January 2022. Even after 2 semesters, there have been no exams or practicals so far. Every 6 months, they just ask to pay fee for next semester, and then ghost you. There were no doubt clearing sessions in 2nd semester. Even in the first semester, the sessions were extremely poor. LMS portal is third class and is usually not updated with study material, recorded lectures, assignments, etc. IGNOU authorities hardly reply to email queries. Better choose other alternatives if you're serious about your career.

I have done 1st and 2nd year of computer science and engineering from VTU, KARNATAKA. after that i have studied computer hardware & networking from PMKVY and got a job as placement from PMKVY in a ANNUAL COMPUTER MAINTAINCE COMPANY in RANCHI,JHARKHAND and worked there for 2 years and 4 months. Due to COVID-19 I left the field work job in that AMC in RANCHI. and during this COVID period I am going to complete my BCA from IGNOU and want to complete my MCA from IGNOU accompanied with doing job anywhere. @@Shan_alig Yes it hard but you can still do it, go for PGDCA firstly, that'll help you a lot because as a PCB student, you are anyways not at all eligible for BCA anywhere in India, you should have Mathematics as a subject compulsory on Graduate or intermediate level.

Anyone has any idea about how good the online MCA from IGNOU is? How is the LMS? Is it 100% online?

IGNOU launched online MCA in January 2022. Even after 2 semesters, there have been no exams or practicals so far. Every 6 months, they just ask to pay fee for next semester, and then ghost you. There were no doubt clearing sessions in 2nd semester. Even in the first semester, the sessions were extremely poor. LMS portal is third class and is usually not updated with study material, recorded lectures, assignments, notifications, etc. IGNOU authorities hardly reply to email queries. Even after 1 year they haven't clarified how will they conduct the exams. Better choose other alternatives if you're serious about your career.
